"I would recommend staying away from this complex. There are mold issues and plumbing issues to the point where there is squishy drywall and the cabinets smell like they are rotting. The maintenance staff claims that it's not from water damage, which then I don't know what it could possibly be from since it's the wall behind the sink. I believe the mold has been making us sick as well. The neighborhood itself is not the best either- police visit multiple times a week and there is often dripping trash water from upstairs neighbors onto our front door, as well as people dumping trash near you if you live on the first floor. The walkways have uneven and loose planks, which I have tripped on several times. There was a severe roach issue when we first moved in that we finally got under control. The windows were also broken when we first moved in, and we saw several other broken windows as well in the same building. My windows are still not even fully repaired (no window screen) almost a year later. Trash valet does not consistently take trash, even though we make sure to measure the weight and package it properly. Overall, incredibly disappointing."

As for the recent management company that took over in strange times, during the "pandemic", they have done nothing but improve and make this property a peaceful place to call home. Emma has assisted me with any issue from when she was a leasing agent, assistant director and now the director, well deserved for her."

"Absolutely do not stay here and don’t recommend to anyone, I stayed here paid rent on time, left with a 60 day notice, left the apartment in great condition, did not sign a lease and they tried to charge me for 8 months rent after in a place I didn’t stay. The apartments were old and dirty, it took 2-3 weeks for a service to be taken care of. They have trash everywhere and the office staff is rude and if you aren’t Latino like them, they treat you poorly. I recommend anywhere else besides this complex and their sister complex around the corner promade at Berkeley. They also pay for 5 star reviews it’s in the booklet don’t be fooled."
