"So yesterday, I was notified about a past due balance of 600 and something that was never on there before. A new company took over and decided to swindle money out the tenants. This balance was from June or July. I pay my rent every month online. There was never a past due balance.I hit pay now and I pay the bill that’s on there. It sounds like us tenants need to get together and call the news company and a lawyer. I’m short on my rent because I been out of work with covid. I even showed the paperwork. Isn’t there a law with tenants that has covid? Only thing I’m getting is it’s the new companies fault and pay all of it.My lawyer will look over the ledger that they falsely put together. I called the office. They told me about the balance that was never there before.I also have several ignored emails i sent to them"

"Long story short now after deposit was 300 they want 1500. I wouldn’t move here if you are looking for people who are honest and rightful. Nicholas in the front desk told us they had the unit available and showed us but come to find out showed 3 different units and the one they had for me was still occupied. And had nothing else to put me on so get the deposit 1200 extra and still pushing my move in date from 2 to 12 we have been talking to Nicholas since dec15 and today I find out I got to wait two more weeks. Great job Amberlake great job Would leave 0 stars if it was posible."

"Came here for my appointment to view a one bedroom. I received a confirmation email last night, but to my surprise came to visit an empty office with no one inside."

"I scheduled a tour a week and a half ago. I was looking for a one bedroom. I get there and they tell me they don’t have a 1 bedroom to show but offered to let me see a 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse. I declined because that would be a waste of my time with it being out of my budget. They had all that time to reach out to me and say they don’t have what I’m looking for to show before I wasted gas and time going there. It was not a close drive for me. So I feel like this was unprofessional and possibly a sign to not try to move here. The outside of the buildings already look as if they are old and unkempt."

"Just moved in a few days ago, wanted to share a few things. - On day one, the hot water wasn't working. - Apartment looked clean enough until I realized that everything was swept underneath the dishwasher and fridge. Bits of food, dirt, debris, all under there. Front balcony had leftover trash and debris. Filthy. - Dishwasher is conveniently placed in the way of the fridge, causing the dishwasher door to get caught unless you open the fridge door. - Entire apartment constantly smells like hookah smoke and weed. - You can also hear every footstep upstairs. - Had to pick up dead roaches. - Washer Dryer connections are in a tiny closet in the master bedroom. Won't fit most standard washers and dryers. Connection is loose and potentially a fire hazard. - Floor is warped and uneven. Ceiling is lazily patched over previous leaks. TL;DR - Apartment was unclean, questionable design choices, lazy. At the very least, management has been sympathetic. But the bar has been set extremely low if this is the standard. Don't live here unless you can't find anything else."
