"I cannot express enough frustration I have with the smoke detectors in my unit. The smoke detectors constantly go off at all hours of the day and night as least twice a month. Changing the batteries does nothing. There has to be a bigger issue but the office won’t look further into it. The first two years with the old management was great. It’s not the same anymore unfortunately."

"I’d say this is a okay place to live! The apartments are pretty and the area is quiet most of the time. One constant problem we have had is lack of available parking. We have to get a sticker to “not get towed” but theres people parking in the middle of the street, CONSTANTLY. Im not sure if the same people work there but these newer front office ladies have a terrible attitude. They also never pick up the phone and they never fixed our leaky ceilings. I think you can find a better place with the amount theyre charging."

"We put in 2 work orders for bug spray a month ago,, I left a phone message, and stopped by the office and still have roaches everywhere. It says the work order was completed but no one has come to spray. Roaches are getting in cereal boxes, there all over the place. There is not enough parking. On weeknights I almost always have to park outside of the apartment complex which is not secure. I have to carry my bullet proof vest and all valuables into my apartment every weeknight because of no parking within the gates of the complex. Our smoke detectors would go off for no reason off and on for months. It's so loud you can hear it from the parking lot. We had to stay in a hotel one weekend because the alarm would not stop going off. We've had issues with our toikets etc etc etc. Don't move here"

"Here are some things to keep in mind if you are considering living here: The main gate does not work, so you may have to turn back. The elevator does not work once a month, so you have to walk. All the doors in the house do not fit, so you cannot lock them. (Safety is not guaranteed.) When you turn on the microwave, the power in the house goes down. constant MJ smell @@@Updated@@@ After writing the review, the apartment management company did not take any action, and in fact, more cars were parked in places where they should not be parked. The management company does not do anything for the tenants, and only sends warning emails to the tenants about other things. If you send an email with a problem, they will not check the email for 2 weeks. I think this management company should not be allowed to make money. We are leaving this apartment. Please note that this management company only does well when you start renting for the first time. After that, you will be cut off from contact. We've been living here for about three years. In the meantime, we are spending more than $50 a month on reserved parking. But once a month someone parks in my spot and whenever that happens we have to park outside the gate and walk. After 6 o'clock, the apartment does not answer the phone. Even if you leave a voicemail, you do not receive a call the next day. It receives no help or Compensation. All they say is a emotionless apology and that they will be contacting them for fined. Don’t waste your money and time here this is a stressful."

"Darren did an excellent job in helping us find the perfect unit within the Sugarloaf Walk complex. We really love living here. The hallway outside are door are bright, clean and airy, our apartment was "refresh" to like new condition, appliances are modern and clean, and the club house is functional and absolutely stunning. The place is quiet and everyone seem like kind people here. I receive warm greetings whenever I run into the Sugarloaf team from Darren, Haley, Kenbra to Diego and everyone in between. Keep up the great work."
