"Room not as advertised, like its actually sad how terrible it is. Hallways smell like hot garbage. Maintenance requests take way too long to be fulfilled. Pest problem. They got stray cats and you get charged if you feed them? Which is crazy cause they help with the pest problem building management doesn't take care of. Building manager is rude. Ants everywhere. overall just completely false advertisement. Also they do mandatory apartment checks , like they come in and go through your separate rooms and bathrooms to check if the furniture is there but neither I nor my roommates were aware of this and they were so aggressive about it. None of us answered the door cause we were confused so they used their keys and let themselves into the apartment and peoples locked bedrooms. If you live on the other side of the building it takes a total of 10 minutes to get to the entrance so get ready to walk if you got groceries or are moving in your stuff it's horrible if you're not prepared."

"I don't understand why these useless wastes of people are bothering to respond to the negative reviews when they take no action to fix any issues. They've repeatedly violated privacy by just coming in unannounced, failed miserably at pest control, and there are constant fire alarms probably from people smoking since it always smells like weed in the halls. -_- these people are a joke who have no clue how to run an apartment. I honestly wish I could give them -5 stars. Please save yourself the hassle and rent elsewhere!"

"Don't move here!! The trashiest place with ROACHES no matter if your place is clean. Staff isn't on the same page with rules, maintenance or fees. Most unorganized complex I've ever seen. Big rude, lazy, miserable security guard at the front desk who is always on a personal call DOESN'T need to be at the front with his terrible attitude. I'm sure EVERYONE knows who this guy is!! He was working on New Years Eve Day shift. Who charges for visitors?! Very schemy. I'm Sure Corporate Doesn't Know What's Going On Here!!"

"there’s a lack of competence and structure within management of westmar. i genuinely do not think that the team have ever communicated with each other because everyone has told me different messages before. - first, roommates and i have sent complaints about how our bedframes are queen sized but we have full sized mattresses; we were paying for queen sized mattresses because the rooms are literally no different from each, every 4bd layout is the exact same. whether you pay more or not is really based on the size of your bed and if you have the master bedroom or not. when i initially first told someone, it was the resident services manager who told me that they need to order more mattresses but then the next time i complained, they told me that beds can only be ordered in once a year. another thing was my window’s balance (the thing that locks the window) has been needing to be replaced. first, they took note and said that it needs to be ordered then a long later, we had inspections come in and they told me that they ordered it and it should be on the way, then later again, maintenance came in about my window and told me that they need to order new balances but they haven’t done that. obviously, there’s a clear lack of communication within the team because no one can say the same thing and it’s utterly frustrating because who am i supposed to listen to? - second, recently, someone stuffed tissue paper into our door lock so that it wouldn’t be able to fully lock. my roommates noticed this on dec 11. i’ve notified the community manager and he said he’ll check the footage and said that they could not find anything on the 11th or 12th which is ridiculous because you could also check the 10th. he claims that those were the dates i’ve requested which i personally do not recall but whatever. however, it was so obvious that our unit was compromised and someone had access to the unit at some point. - last but certainly not least, i submitted a complaint about one of the rooms having a bad smell. we tried solutions for the smell like boiling vinegar and such. maintenance came in and their solution was to put the trash that came from the last tenant along with my items, not bothering to ask anyone about the items or the garbage. just simply hid the trash in my storage crate, my bin, with my items. quite literally, if i could give this place a zero-star review, i’d be more than happy to do so. i’ve had a lot more issues (which would be draining to put in this review) with this place and i’ve only been here since august. i’ve heard the issues from other tenants as well. this place should be avoided at all costs."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE ! This review is not reflective of the leasing team at Westmar because they don’t have any authority to make any real decisions. I moved into Westmar Sept. 8th, 2023 and immediately into moving into the unit there were roaches. So I followed my lease and gave them the chance to fix it by getting on their pest control list. I was there when they sprayed a few days later. A week and a half after that, while I was taking a nap there was a large brown cockroach crawling up my arm in the bed with me. (See picture). Immediately, I went to the office to get my lease terminated. Both of my requests have been denied. I only have the option to sublet or continue paying them even though I moved all my stuff out the day the roach was in bed with me. Do better than I did. Do your research and listen to the reviews. This place is not worth a damn. You’re better off sleeping in your car."
