Cottonwood Westside Apartments

"I've been living here for a couple years and my experience has left me with mixed feelings. They don't allow guests — no guests passes or guest parking whatsoever. Your guests WILL be booted! Also they make you pay $25 a month to park where you live. If you have two vehicles, you have to pay $75 a month. The elevators are always broken and car break-ins are frequent. On the bright side the units are nice, the pricing is decent for the area, and the management/maintenance team is responsive and communicative and will try their best to solve any personal issues you have. Unfortunately the parking situation is starting to outweigh the positives as they are heavily enforcing the booting policy and forcing us to have our guests pay for parking at nearby lots even though the garage is never full, even with the entire bottom floor blocked off for repairs that are probably never going to happen. Hopefully these issues change for the better."

"I have not moved in yet (so review might change). But I just want to utilize Google Review to express my gratitude towards our leasing agent Jay, who was super friendly and helpful in helping me and my roommate securing a good deal with the apartment. Her responsiveness was also very much appreciated. She was quick to process our applications and also quick to communication. Looking forward to move in. At first I toured the apartment thinking it would be bad because it’s got low Google Review Rating, but so far I am having a really good impression. Will update my experience here. Update: My experience with leasing office and maintenance people has been great. However, I am updating the rating for my experience for the apartment because of parking. It's kinda ridiculous that that there is no visitor parking spots. Also, they should really update their Q&A section on their website to reflect that, because it's outdated, at least for the parking section. Update2: Terrible experience with parking. My car just got broken into. I don't know how this happens when the garage is gated."

"I have really enjoyed living at Cottonwood Westside for the past 6 years. The neighborhood is a lot of fun with the best restaurants and local shopping. It's so nice to have instant access to all of these places, with no worries about driving and parking. The apartment building has been a great place to live. It makes all the difference in the world when the management and staff is trustworthy, dependable, and caring. That's what you will find at Cottonwood. Jay always goes above and beyond whenever I have a question/concern or need her assistance. She really looks out for all of the residents. If you are looking for a place to live on the Westside, I highly recommend Cottonwood!"

"I lived at Cottonwood for only 8 months before I had to break my lease and move out of state for work. I absolutely loved my unit and the building. I was in the Diesel floor plan and it was perfect for one person. I never had any issues with the staff or any other residents, and the building was kept very clean. It is close to everything and I miss it every day!"

"I lived at Cottonwood apartments from July 2021- July 2023. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible. Over time, the conditions deteriorated significantly.. The parking deck that is flooded and will never get fixed for extra parking should be the LEAST of your worries! Dog pee is in all common areas because owners are never held accountable, maintenance staff is inconsistent, elevators break down every other week, also if your checking the gym room make sure both treadmills work not just one! Biggest problem here? NO ONE WANTS TO PAY OVER 2K MID JULY DURING SUMMER AND HAVE A FILTHY MOLDED POOL. Pool was never cleaned for over an entire month!!!! If I am paying over 2k for rent and amenities I expect to put it to use. Jay will mark your maintenance request as "fulfilled" knowing well nothing was done. My time there was not pleasant and this place is NOT IT! Dont walk, but RUN from CottonHood. My condolences to the tenants still suffering in that place. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere."
