Villas at Decatur

"I'd rate it zero stars if I could. In my three years here, this property has changed management six times, each worse than the last. They're never in the office or answering phones. Reviews praising them are fabrications. "First Communities" should be "Last Communities" – they prioritize residents last. The new management favors Hispanic residents, discriminating against black residents, creating language barriers. No emergency maintenance, pest control is a no-show, and false rent claims led to a court summons, later dismissed. Currently, no heat or hot water due to shoddy repairs. Emailing work orders gets no response. Referrals not Hispanic are turned away. Not to mention of someone arriving at my door at 8:30 in the evening with cameras and security harassing me. They returned my rent in an attempt to prove non-payment, but the case was dismissed and thrown out. Choose wisely."

"If I could leave no stars I would. This apartment is not worth your time or money. You’re better off doing business elsewhere. They advertise business hours between 9-4:30 and literally no one is ever in the leasing office! They never answer the phone! Completely unprofessional. It makes absolutely zero sense even trying. I’ve called this community at least a hundred times with no call back. Not to mention the requests for maintenance. I don’t know how any business can be run like this but they expect their rent on time. I got out of there so fast!"

"I’ve been living here since November and I’ve witnessed the change in the apartment complex. I personally watch Silvia walk around and make sure everything is getting handled. She is truly a blessing. My family & I truly appreciate you! We definitely plan on continuing our stay here!"

"We had a pleasant stay there at the villas in Decatur. We stayed there for two years and had no problems with management or any problems with them fixing anything that we needed very pleasant Miss Silvia the manager is an awesome lady. She speak Spanish, and English very very very respectful, and she met all of our needs when we needed something fixed in our apartment Removed because we had to get something bigger because I work with Life Line Animal Project so we had to get a house but it’s awesome. I loved it out there. Everything was convenient. Stores were closed. Everything was right there at our fingertips. I gave it a five star."

"It has very nice fully remodeled apartments. On-site workers make constant efforts to improve safety and maintenance. The place is kept clean (garbage comes religiously), with abundant well-kept green areas and plenty of parking space. I recommend this site, very good price/quality ratio. I have been living for almost 6 months and I have never had any negative incident"
