Clayton Forest Apartments

"Around last Thanksgiving I heard the sounds of newborn kittens in a crawlspace under my apartment. Yesterday they bricked up the unit without checking and trapped the mother and kittens inside. It's Christmas Eve and they are currently screaming and trying to claw their way out as they slowly die from starvation. They should have checked first! It could have been a child. I wish I could afford to move but I can't. No one answers the phone in the office. I've tried email and leaving a message with the answering service. Nothing! I can't stop crying as I'm forced to listen to them slowly die. It's a Christmas I will never forget!"

"Worst experience ever. The manager are rude they make you sign a contract statng one thing but when it’s time to pay the rent it’s another thing. Their office hours say their open on the weekend THEY ARE NOT AND ARE ALWAYS ON LUNCH. It takes months for them to fix the simplest of things. They change management and maintenance every 3-6 months. They leave notes on everyone’s doors talking about people’s kids and that the kids are liars. Don’t move here"

"I lived here for one year and it was such a horrible experience, they have roaches, spiders,and mice. The move in process was horrible the first night in my apartment a homeless man was sleeping in my bed when I came home from work plus they were still fixing the apartment while we were already moved in, we had no stove for a week no doors on the bedrooms, and the plumbers put a gaping hole in the bathroom wall and never came to fix it so many hugs got in. Had to get my window fixed 3x because the kids in the complex broke it , drug dealers"

"I currently live in Clayton Forest Apartments. The manager in the office is the worst. She’s very rude and is overcharging myself as well as two other women I know that live in this same complex. I’ve ask time and time again for the email or phone number to anyone over our current manager Ms. Luckett. She even said she would send my info off to corporate herself and have them reach out to me .& that was over three months ago. They also fix things at their own pace. I would not recommend Anyone to move here."

"I LIVE IN CLAYTON FOREST APARTMENTS WHICH IS NEXT DOOR AND OWNED AND RAN BY THE SAME MANAGEMENT COMPANY. IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW FOR LANDLORDS TO RENT DUMPS LIKE THIS!! I CALLED THE FOREST PARK HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND THEY'RE AS SORRY AS THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY RUNNING THIS PLACE. THE PICTURES POSTED HERE ARE OF THE SPACE BELOW MY APARTMENT. CATS HAVE DIED UNDER MY APARTMENT AND MY APARTMENT WAS FILLED WITH BLOW FLIES THAT I COULDNT GET RID OF. 3 TIMES RAW SEWERAGE STARTED SPEWING OUT OF A PIPE UNDER MY BATHROOM WINDOW THAT TOOK THEM 3 DAYS TO FIX!! MOLD, MILDEW GROWING UNDER MY APARTMENT AND AROUND MY VENTS AND ELECTRICAL OUTLETS FROM A BROKEN PIPE THAT WAS RUNNING WATER FOR OBVIOUSLY QUITE A LONG TIME. MAINTENANCE IS NON EXISTENT AND WHEN THEY DO SHOW UP ITS ONLY TO APPLY A S****Y BANDAID!! THEY'RE SORRY AS HELL!! I AM MOVING IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND WANT TO WARN ANYONE WHO THINKS THIS WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE. THINK AGAIN!!"
