"I wouldn’t call it a dirty hotel, just not clean. Notices in the (painfully slow) elevator say the hotel is under construction. Maybe that’s true? So… loud next interstate like most hotels would be but since this is an old hotel, even louder in my experience. Saw a review from 3 months ago that says hotel has been remodeled - NOT true. Other things - fitness center doesn’t open until 7:30 am????? - makes no sense thus a 2 service rating, USB charger didn’t work next to bed, TV remote channel down doesn’t work, sub par coffee and no I’m not a coffee snob - served in the Navy so most all coffee is good to me, one of the bed comforters had a 2” brown stain, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. All that said, it was $105 for the night so beggars can’t be choosers. 2.5 rating."
"My husband and I stayed here to help my brother in law move to Valdosta and the room was amazing! Everything was clean and seemed newly renovated! Also the breakfast was great! It’s a great bang for your bucks!!"
"Absolutely one of the best hotels ever. Extremely helpful and friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were on vacation traveling from Knoxville TN to Boynton Beach FL and back. We had such a pleasant stay on the way down that we made sure to stay there on the way home. Jahmal was at the front desk both times. He is very professional, pleasant and helpful. On the way home Jahmal was manning the front desk and Phil was tacking excellent care of the breakfast area and any guests that needed a helping hand. This reminds me of when hospitality meant something. These folks know how to make you feel like your a welcome guest and like your staying in their home. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job as well. I highly recommend this hotel."
"We rarely stay in Hotel/Motels, as we are usually in our RV. However, our Christmas vacation required overnight stays. Phil, the manager, greeted us, and Sierra checked us in at the desk. I'm already feeling good about this reservation. There was a 'Manager Reception' with libations and appetizers and a great recommendation for dinner. The room was quite clean and looked very comfortable. Thank you, staff and management, for a very comfortable visit. Nice job."
"They have remodeled. This place was fantastic. It was better than the super expensive holiday inn. Breakfast was the typical hot bar. Nothing too fancy but was good. Definitely would stay here again."
