Parker House Bed and Breakfast

"My son and I were in town to visit the Burman Museum. We stopped at the Parker House to view the exterior of this magnificent house. I assumed that it was a private residence. I was not aware that it was a B&B. The owner, Megan Brightwell, noticed our interest and gave us a full tour and history of the house and grounds. Thank you Megan for being such a gracious host!"

"A great place all around. The home looks and feels like it was built in the late 1800's which is precisely what I had hoped for and expected. The architecture is wonderful, and the furniture is authentic to the era of the home. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was tasty, and different each morning for the 3 mornings we were there. It was very clean and well kept for a home where 3 children reside. The family is very friendly and enjoyable. We shared breakfast with them in the mornings as Scott (dad/husband/owner) shared with us not only the history of the home, but also the town and area. Would recommend to anyone who likes people, history, and does not require brand new everything. It is a very unique home, and for us a very welcome retreat from our day to day."

"I simply loved it. It was quite a refreshing change from the normal motel/hotel scene... lovely architecture around it's area. Just an amazing experience and you can also step outside and play your Pokemon Go game while your there because their is a pokegym on site for players as well.."

"Food was good, but we had to make our own coffee. The rooms are ok. Updated Decor and building maintenance are needed. We probably won't be back or recommended."
