"I was super excited to stay at this hotel, but when I arrived I was completely disappointed. I booked the room months in advance and requested a room with a view. It didn’t have to be a great view, but a view would have been nice. They put my husband and I on the first floor looking at a gate and ugly buildings. They were not busy, they definitely could have gives us a better room. It was disappointing that when we checked in and got to the room the door didn’t open! We had to walk all the way back to where we checked in for them to tell us that some rooms the door sticks and that we have to lift the handle up. Come on, if they knew that, tell us, or provide a room where we don’t have to wait in the cold trying to get the door open and then have to walk all the way back up with our luggage! We were driving for 10 hours and it was dark and late. We just want to get into our room smooth and easily, which was Not the case. The pillow had STAINS. And all the blankets and bed sheets had STAINS. It was disgusting. We were so tired that we used towels and our clothes to lay on the bed and sleep. We didn’t bother going to the front because it was late, and we were exhausted. The breakfast was mediocre. We should get a full refund. I submitted a review that was sent to my email, but no one replied. I’ve attached photos of the pillow stains. On of the pillows looked like it had Blood on it. It was disturbing."

"I grew up in Anniston and always wanted to stay here. I watched it transform from the Victoria into its current beauty. My expectations were met and beyond. Breakfast was included and was by far the best free breakfast I have had. Denisha was so friendly and made our trip memorable. I needed a travel crib for my toddler and it was delivered to my room for no extra charge. The price is similar to a Hampton or Hilton, but the experience you’ll get at Hotel Finial is far more unique with a rich history and warm family atmosphere. Being in Anniston, one might worry about safety, but you can rest at ease as the Finial is completely fenced with a gate you can only access by key card. We will be back!"

"Great customer service! We had a short stay for a JSU game and met Stefon at our check-in. He was a blessing, helping us to navigate what to do in the area and basically made our stay special. Rooms are nice and the dining room, pool area, and hotel grounds are lovely."

"A great thing about Anniston is all the unique places you’ll find. Hotel Finial is one of them. I was really happy with my recent stay. The room was comfortable, the price was reasonable and the breakfast was so good! I loved exploring the house and felt very welcome from check-in through check-out."
