About the Business
Truly Living Well is a unique institution located at 1040 Westview Drive Southwest in Atlanta, Georgia. As a food, grocery, and supermarket store, we pride ourselves on our commitment to growing food, people, and community. Our CSA program, which stands for Community Supported Agriculture, allows members to share in the risks and rewards of the farming season with us. By prepaying for fresh produce, members help us cover the costs of seeds and supplies needed to continue growing. Our CSA members receive a weekly box of seasonal produce grown by our farmers.
In April 2023, we will transition to our monthly farmer's market, offering a variety of fresh and locally grown products. Additionally, our beautiful farm sites are available for events such as weddings, luncheons, and meetings. Our venue can be tailored to express the charm of an urban farm or transformed into an elegant space with white linen décor. Truly Living Well has become the venue of choice for many leading organizations in Georgia, hosting events for the US Department of Agriculture, Georgia Film Commission, United Way, and more.
One of our student interns shared their experience, stating, "I learned that these community farms are quite important to sustaining communities, especially in times when larger industrial farms face challenges in delivering food." "Truly Living Well is awesome. Here lives not only a pretty large urban garden (which you can tour for free when you go), but also a market where they sell the produce they grow straight from the garden. The people are welcoming for the most part. The market is open every Friday and they have different things for sale each week. Some things I saw there were honey, okra, purple green beans, eggplant, and greens! Sidenote: If you have an EBT card, you can use it here! I love how the organization makes it a point to make healthy organic food accessible to ALL people. I walked away from here with more knowledge on food and urban gardens as well as tons of veggies."
