Reviews
"Great whole foods location but is typically understaffed in the checkout lines even though there seems to be plenty of employees there's always a long wait to check out in this particular whole foods. It is the only whole foods that I know of that has exceptionally long wait lines to check out. It is not unusual to see some lines so long that they go down the aisles and interrupt people trying to access items to buy."
"I am writing this review with a heavy heart, giving Whole Foods a one-star rating, and here's why. Despite an initially delightful shopping experience at Whole Foods, my day took an unfortunate turn, and I believe it's crucial to bring this matter to your attention. The predatory parking practice! While the overall shopping experience was commendable, I strongly advise against using Midtown Place parking and crossing the street to reach the Ponce City Market after your shopping. Unfortunately, our vehicle was booted, and we were slapped with a $75 fee. This unexpected setback felt like a trap, particularly with what seemed to be aggressive camera operators near the nail store on the second floor. It's important to note that while there are signs with fine print, none clearly communicate the risks associated with Ponce City Market parking. Numerous customers, including myself, have fallen victim to this issue, as evidenced by the many complaints circulating both in the recent Midtown Place comment on google map reviews. I urge Whole Food Market and other management to thoroughly investigate this matter. Such parking complications significantly detract from the overall positive experience your establishment provides. It's disheartening to see an otherwise pleasant day marred by an unexpected and seemingly avoidable inconvenience. I implore you to review the feedback from customers who have encountered similar issues, which can be found in various google store reviews in this plaza. Addressing this concern will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing the overall customer satisfaction at Midtown place. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope steps will be taken to prevent future patrons from experiencing the same disappointment. Here are some examples of other reviews from customers in the same plaza. https://maps.app.goo.gl/9mqo6AY29vC1ydJF7 https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ho6e4BTjtnMeffSMA https://maps.app.goo.gl/3YEnTXrXscmgkKsm7 https://maps.app.goo.gl/N849NDfbjiSXijVN6 And many many more!"
"This location is in decline since I left in 2015. Better hot bar today. Yesterday all dinner meals were in a pan of grease or overcooked and dried out. Salad bar always seems fresh. Like the juice bar, one of the few that has a bar. Service is really great."
"I want to be clear, and I want to be fair. Cashiers should not be disposable/expendable, and self check-out should not be the only option for customers especially when the self check-out kiosks are "Card Payments Only/No Cash Accepted/No Cash Back". This has been the experience during my last three visits, and I will not be going back because if I wanted to be a cashier at Whole Foods - I would have applied. I have been a loyal customer to this location for years, but it saddens me to see this store location ( or maybe the company overall ) follow suit of all the other big box stores silently eliminating cashiers under the veil of "for your convenience" ; "COVID-19" ; "Staff Shortages"; etc. I visited this location most recently on September 19th, and was in awe that there was not ONE lane open or a cashier in sight. This has been the case the past few times I have visited, during the hours at which I grocery shop. Then, as I begrudgingly walked to self-check-out I saw the "Cash Only" sign. At that moment, I thought of Atlanta Lawmaker at City Hall, Antonio Lewis, who introduced legislation seeking to require businesses to continue accepting cash. "It's like discrimination. We have people who may not have a card. Or may not have enough left on their card, but can pay in cash" At that moment, I thought of my mother who is disabled, and going the grocery store is the one last few dignities she has. Then having that dignity taken away as she learns she has to scan & bag her own groceries @ machines that don't take cash - cash being the only method of payment she has access to. At that moment, I thought of the elderly woman who was in front of me @ CVS who didn't understand how to use their self-check-out kiosk so I had to help her. The workers watching you during self-check-out , making sure you do your job ( or their job ) correctly, are nice though (o_0) However, there is nothing convenient about spending hundreds of dollars on groceries, then having to scan, bag, and deliver them to your own car ( the latter is normal, but not when you add scan & bag ). I've been a cashier before, but I never applied to be a cashier at Whole Foods ( or any other store); and I never walk in thinking how great it's going to be to scan, pay, and bag my own groceries. The customer experience and customer service bar is on the floor at this point. This is not customer obsession. I am the customer providing their own customer service - and that's sad."
"First time stepping foot in a Whole Foods in my entire life, and I was really impressed! A high-end grocery market with a large variety of products. The price point definitely matches the quality of the store and product. Staff members were very friendly, and quick to make our pizza! Definitely a great location too!"
