Reviews
"Love this venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Great acoustics. Have been numerous times over the years, both for comedy and music performances. Parking, like everywhere else, is a chore unfortunately. I suggest rideshare."
"My mom and I had a fantastic time at Tabernacle for a Grace Potter concert. Prior to the show I called to see what ADA accommodations were available for my mom. I had to leave a message, but received a call back later in the week assuring me there would be a space for folks to sit if needed. We got to the venue for a VIP pre-show and they helped to make sure my mom had a seat that she needed and that she was comfortable the entire time. The folks here were incredibly friendly and professional and it helped me to relax and enjoy the show."
"Came to the Tabernacle for the first time for the Static-X/Sevendust show. The facility was nice, the sound was good. The merchandise line setup was disappointing (had to wait in line for all bands there vs the one you specifically wanted) though I'm not sure this was a fault of the venue. There were lots of places to get food and drink. Lines moved well and staff were friendly. Getting in to the venue was easy. The seats were quite cramped and not very comfortable. The sight lines were good. I'd definitely go back for more shows though I may opt to stand vs sitting."
"I won tickets off of 104.1 to see Kerry Washington, and Tyler Perry. Tyler Perry asked her questions, and allowed the audience to ask Ms. Washington questions. It was amazing. Kerry Washington gave everyone a copy of her new book. Also, the tabernacle was easy to find. I found convenient parking with only a few steps from the door. There were quite a few people. The tabernacle reminds me of an old movie theatre or a theatre where plays are performed. It has an historic feel to it. It was a nice audience , and they served beverages such as alcohol, and drinks such as water, etc. I enjoyed it. My friend and I sat in the balcony. We were for about an hour and a half. Next door was the big Ferris wheel, centennial park, and so much more that was in walking distance. Also, we were in the heart of downtown."
"I recently attended an appreciation party at this historic venue. The building itself is quite old, but it is well-maintained. There were multiple bars inside serving a variety of drinks, as well as food stations serving tacos, sliders, and other appetizers. The large stage hosted a live band throughout the evening, and there was a standing area below where people could dance and socialize. Overall, I had a great time at the appreciation party. The venue was unique and interesting, the food and drinks were good, and the live music was entertaining. I would definitely recommend this venue for corporate events or other special occasions."
