"The ideal tropical food market is a convenient store that sells African and Caribbean groceries. Including meats, stock fish, garri, and other food items."

"Mr. Vincent Is the GOAT of African store in Atlanta! Back in the days, about 20 years, his original OG store was on Riverdale road and that was the spot! Him and his wife are kind and helpful; they have truly become a family! Check him out for your traditional cooking ingredients. He has a large variety of goods, even goods you never knew you needed! In fact, whenever I go back home to my parents in Marietta, I always stuck up on my supplies at his new location. Check him out!"

"The staffs are respectful and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, compared to other African stores I have been too. The more you buy, the less you pay. I definitely can't see myself shopping elsewhere except, the store runs out of what I need. They have the best deals on stock fish, garri, beans and many more."

"I bought all the stuff I need to prepare onugbo soup from Ideal Tropical. Their fresh onugbo is very bitter so make sure you buy akanwu (alkaline) cook the onugbo with akanwu for 10-15mins, wash it for like 3 times the bitter taste will disappear. I use just one pack to make this big pot. Their ogili Igbo too has a weird taste but smells good tho, don't put too much so that the taste won't spoil the soup, I used half of it to make the soup. Their ede is good, I bought two but I used only one. I use the tin palm kernel instead of oil, I bought stockfish, meat, knor, and yellow pepper. My family couldn't get enough of this soup, it tastes super yummy!"
