"Jared was a wonderful person to deal with; he's what I call a stand up guy! I bought a Jeep Wrangler from him a couple of months ago to use as a flat-tow vehicle. He did tell me that he had the AC unit had been worked on and new tires were added. After I picked up the vehicle and driving home (Hilton Head, SC), about a 1/3 of the way back home, the check engine light came on. I called Jared and he thought the cause could be the gas cap. I was able to drive all the way home and the next day, I was on my way to Florida towing the Jeep behind my RV. When I arrived in Florida, I took the Jeep to a dealer and they said the check engine light was caused by an emissions problem and to top it off, the AC was not blowing out cold air. I was at least able to use the Jeep for the rest of my trip. When I got home, I immediately took the Jeep to local shops and it appeared that someone tried to cut out the catalytic converter (happened in Alabama) but failed, the attempted theft did cause heavy damage to the pipes. I called Jared and informed him of both situations, the AC and catalytic converter. To make a long story short, I ended up paying to get both problems repaired. I asked Jared if he could pay for some of the repairs and he agreed! I was surprised that he was willing to refund me a part of the repairs but he also stated to me that it was the right thing to do!
