Dollar General

"8/11/2023 Dollar General 6641 Roosevelt Highway: I walked around the store for 20 minutes as I didnt want to disturb the 3 ladies (3 employees) having a conversation at the front of the store. I asked the gentleman behind the counter, (the only one who was truly working) for the location of an item. He promptly gave me an answer and I went to retrieve the item. As i returned, I needed another item, but the gentleman behind the counter was ringing up another customer so I didnt want to bother him. I interrupted the 3 ladies talking and asked, "Excuse me ladies, do you work here? Of course i knew they did. This was just my way of casually interrupting their conversation. The very heavy set Caucasion lady looked at me sternly as if she couldnt believe that i had the audacity to interrupt their conversation. The African American lady then answered, "yes". I then asked, " Where is the cough syrup"? She advised me of the location and as I walked off i said, "Gosh, you dont have to be staring at me like that". The African American lady asked who I was talking to. I advised her immediately of whom i was speaking to and why I was offended. She then said you dont have to talk to her like that and refused me service. I then advised them all to have "a good one" and exited the store. I left about 3 other items on the counter. This store is always filthy, first of all, (inside and out), but is nearby so I deal with it. Secondly, they are always unprofessional, rude and appear to be untrained in customer service. This is the first time that I have been disrespected though so I will not be returning. For any corporate managers of this particular store, I would advise a couple of pop ups! I think you would be surprised at what you will find!"

"Me and my daughter went yesterday to upload my cash app card and was being hacked by the female worker as if we were stealing and it made me uncomfortable how can u even shop or be interested in anything when u can't do it in peace... Terrible location won't be back......"

"Me and my daughter came in to shop there and they were out of buggies inside for customers, it was hard to walk inside, with crates of product everywhere, my my daughter had a duck that didn’t have a barcode on it and they stated that they couldn’t sell it to me, instead of just bringing the set up front that it was from, I do not recommend this store to anyone"

"I went there and I must say that location looks incredible the store was nice and clean. The customer service representative was very nice. The shelves were neatly arranged and I found everything I was looking for. Although a bit far away from me I'll definitely be returning."
