"I came in looking to replace my oven, because despite never having used self clean, I have still had to replace the control panel three times in as many years. Samsung told me that the control panel was heat sensitive. Go figure. There was a very lovely woman who was super attentive who was attempting to help myself and my husband, but in the meantime some douchebag in a baseball cap tried to mansplain to me why air frying is the height of culinary skill, and why I should only ever be using convection. Broham, I have a culinary degree. I know more than you. There was one in particular that we were super interested in that was 60% off, but unfortunately, it wasn't available in store. And because it wasn't in store they couldn't sell it at the sale price. I refused to look at any other option in that store, because I'm not purchasing from an institution where their sales associates look down their nose at their clientele. She was incredible and a delight. He made me want to ram my head in a wall"

"The Suwanee location is the closest to my house, and I shop here frequently. Overall my experience at this location has always been great. Excellent customer service and great deals. However, today, I experienced poor service, and I will write this off as just a one-off experience, but I would like to provide feedback to improve on the customer experience. I went to the paint department to get a paint reading to match the right color that is on my current walls. A sweet young lady who helped me , I didn't get her name, was having trouble with the machine and called the manager for help. I waited for over an hour, and the manager never came. I finally asked what was taking so long, and she told me that the manager didn't know how the machine worked, and they gave her a number to call for support. This is after waiting for over an hour that the manager told her this. The manager, whose name I was told is Tim Brumble or Bramble, could have told her that he didn't have knowledge on how to fix the machine when she first called for help, so I wouldn't have to wait too long. After almost 2 hour, I was frustrated and went to customer service to ask to speak to him, and he never showed up. Honestly, the store was not busy at all, and even if that was the case or maybe he was tied up with other priorities, you communicate that to your team to relay to the customers. Here is how to handle a situation like this, Tim. You tell your associates that, unfortunately, you do not have the knowledge nor the resources available to troubleshoot the issue, and ask the customer to come at a later time or to check out another near by location. Or, you tell them that you can attempt to fix the machine, but you will need to call customer support and you do not have an estimated time on how long it could take ,and give the customer the option to wait or come at a later time. You do not make someone wait for almost 2 hours and never show up or not give your staff the support they need to handle a situation like this. Overall, I like this store. This is just a one time off experience. Anthony was the person who helped me in the past in the paint department, and I want to give him credit for the excellent service."

"Easy return, unfortunately the one item I wanted wasn't anywhere near the aisle and bin # on the website. One of the employees scanned the item and was able to find in a totally different part of the store. Thank God someone was in that part of the store I was looking in. If not I probably won't have found it. One of the main reasons I go to the Athens store is that you can find someone to which is unusual at Loganville, Suwanee or Buford stores."

"I’ve always liked Lowe’s over Home Depot until last week. I ordered a dishwasher. It could only be installed during the work hours during the week. It was an inconvenience. The subcontractor came to install the dishwasher and later on my sink was not draining. My mom called Lowe’s and they said they’d get back to her that day or Monday. On Monday, they said they wouldn’t be able to come do any repairs until 10/18. The dishwasher was installed on 10/6. This is unacceptable and I’ve had to call a plumber to help because waiting two weeks is unacceptable. I will never buy an appliance from Lowe’s again, due to their lack of care and customer service."
