"I’ve been looking for a barbershop Since moving to the area a few months ago. Heard about Northside and thought I’d give it a try. Walked in to an amazing interior with the atmosphere to match. Old style barber chairs give in a manly feel and the pool table and big screen TVs make you wanna relax. Large leather chairs and plenty of seating. Roy is not only the owner but gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had in years. Definitely found a home for all my hair and beard needs!"

"This place was great on the first visit but we had to wait 90 minutes to even get one of my two boys in the chair on the second visit. Despite the photos I took and posted on their behalf (which have been viewed thousands of times), we were turned away on the third and fourth visits and sadly, we have not been back since. This is the only good barber shop around and everybody knows it so I do not understand why the hours are so inconvenient. Some days they close at 5:30 but if you arrive any later than 4:30, your hair is not getting cut... you will be turned away and told to come back another time. There is a Marine Corps base in this town, there is a need for good barber shop services off base. Roy should really consider extending his hours later into the evening and on Saturdays... maybe a few hours on Sunday afternoons? Marines habitually go for haircuts on Sundays and the few options that are actually open on Sundays, they all suck! This place doesn't take appointments and does not have a number system upon entry. Though they are a little pricey, I'm always happy to pay a little more money for good service but if you factor in the long wait time, this place is just too expensive! As a courtesy to future patrons, please consider posting a "Sorry, we are closed!" sign if you reach capacity before closing time, thanks."
