"We have supported Koinonia from the first publication of Clarence Jordan's books. We moved right along to pecans and chocolate products, and more. We got to volunteer for a few days, and the hospitality was overwhelming. The history of this place, it's community, it's mission, the products, bring blessings to millions of people. It gave birth to Habitat for Humanity, Jubilee Partners, and much more."

"I stayed a week with this community as a guest. I would highly recommend. You can have as much or as little interaction as you'd like with the community members. I found it nice to connect with many of them. And it was a very peaceful place to spend Easter week. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for your hospitality."

"Very open place to tour with sheep, cows, and other animals. Very large pecan orchard which are harvested, sorted, and sold by interns and employees. That product plus others you can purchase at the Visitors Center help financially support the farm."

"My aunt and I stayed here a couple nights. I enjoyed: the communal meals (a bit awkward at first, but we quickly felt welcomed); exploring the property (there are resident cats and chickens, gardens, and many acres of pecan groves and general wildness); and all the products they peddle (chocolate bark, pecan brittle, and peach-nut bread, coffee, pecan butter, etc). I also got a kick out of finding a chicken pecking around outside porch! Seemed like there wasn't much happening in January, but I could see their missions of land stewardship and inclusivity are going strong. Very welcoming place, but I'd recommend one of the cottages further back on the property, as Hwy 49 can be quite loud."
