"Great little rural grocery store. Have just about every normal item you would expect in a local grocery store sparing you the trip to town. They do not sell alcohol due to the church across the street, I am sure. They have fresh to order pizza in addition to the grocery items on the shelves."

"Shannon grocery is a hidden gem and the selection is quite nice with both a huge variety of items plus prices that match & even beat big name stores. Staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. They also serve pizzas which are reasonably priced and very tasty. I like the fact that they carry almost anything i might want from Walmart without having to go to Walmart which in and of itself is a huge win when i not have to go to Walmart. They have also started having packages of meats for reasonable prices. So go by check them out and have them make you a pizza to go while you peruse the many options available."
"Just a simple little country store fresh cut meat fresh vegetables, saves you a drive to Walmart or Kroger $6 for honey mustard Kraft $3 at the Dollar store"
"I bought a few things here on the 12th of October 2023 and this morning (the 14th) I was going to cook the sausage that they make in-house. I just happened to look at the sell by date and it was September 25. With a July 29th processing date! It's been sitting in the cooler for more than 2 weeks out of date. I'd not recommend buying meat here...the owner is too cheap to toss expired meat"
