"If I ever find myself in downtown Macon, Famous Mike's will definitely be on my radar. Our usual breakfast stop is there, mainly because we can't resist the allure of their cheese grits and French toast. During our last visit, Mike Seekins, the owner and chief, took the time to personally come out and chat with us, even offering a couple of insights into the secrets behind his delicious cheese grits. Of course, he's not spilling the entire recipe, just a tip or two. What adds to the charm of Famous Mike's is not just the fantastic food but the super-friendly staff and the wonderful atmosphere they've cultivated. If you decide to drop by, be sure to mention that Patty and Wayne recommended the spot. It's always a pleasure to share our positive experiences, and I'm confident others will enjoy the warmth and delicious offerings at Famous Mike's just as much as we do!"

"This place checks all the boxes for me. It was clean, convenient, the service was good and the food was great. It’s definitely southern cooking so if you are looking for something calorie friendly this may not be the best place however I did see some healthier alternatives on the menu. They also offer breakfast and it looked just as good as the lunch."
"i have eaten here twice now and it was amazing both times! the service here is top notch as everyone makes you feel welcome. i got the Gregg burger both times because it was so good, but my coworkers said everything they tried was delicious as well. also, the art on the walls and the names of the burgers are so fun and make for a great conversation starter. i would highly recommend stopping by for a great experience and even better food."
"This was my first time here. My friends highly recommended it! They said the food was great! The art on the wall was cool! Alot to look at! The service on this day however, was awful! My food overcooked! The waitress didn't even offer to take my meal off the bill...knowing I didn't touch it! I was extremely unhappy with my visit! I left the same way I came...hungry!"
