"I give it a 1 star because, its suppose to be a section 8 housing development where those who financially cant afford full rent for a home can go. Well I got denied because my rental and utility payments have been late in the past with other landlords, well let me say this the property they are referring to was a full rental priced place of 550.00 a month and then had to pay for electric which ran almost 100.00 each time and being a single mother of 2 children getting paid on a bi-weekly pay period and checks only being a little close to 700, yeah once I pay rent how and I to pay the utility also the same week and make sure my children have what they need, and when and issue arose at said location that ended up being a bill that took most of the rent money, that I took outta the fallowing pay check the property management office refuse my payment. But colonial doesnt care about all that! They dont care that your a single parent trying to make ends meet with 2 growing children!!! Like seriously come the heck on, if I could of afford that I wouldnt of even applied for section 8 housing!!! And now I'm unemployed and cant even try to get a place there!!! Am I looking for work yes but with rentals at the cost they are in this town, I wont be able 2 afford it, so I dis what was needed and look where that got me! So that I why I give colonial terrace a 1 star rating because they arent out here to help those in need!!!"

"Terrible place to live. Manager will make your life a nightmare if you aren't considered one of her "favorites". We lived there for 7 years. Not willingly but because my mother did not have the income to go elsewhere. Complaints to the manager about neighbors although supposed to be confidential the neighbors always seemed to find out you complained about them. Then you'd have to deal with scratches, dents, and the occasional flat tire on your vehicle in addition to threats. Needless to say the day we were finally able to move out of there it was like winning the lottery and that's no exaggeration. Move in with caution is all I'll say!"
"Good place to live as long as you follow the rules. Maintenance always comes promptly and fixes anything that needs attention."
