"Before you consider moving into this property, I strongly advise against it. Despite what their website may suggest, the reality of living here is far from what you'd expect. Both the on-site management and corporate office leave much to be desired. The on-site staff seem more interested in indulging in food (provided there’s a drive-thru, or maintenance goes to get it) than attending to any resident needs promptly, if at all. Furthermore, they often prioritize their personal activities, including the distribution of illicit products, over their professional responsibilities. Regrettably, the on-site team also appears to have a penchant for questionable behavior, such as joyriding at lunch with men who are clearly not their spouses. In particularly previous tenants in which they’re dubbed “trial runs.” Corporate management, meanwhile, turns a blind eye to the shortcomings of the on-site staff, showing a blatant disregard for their duties. Their investigations, if conducted at all, are often biased and one-sided, tailored to fit their preferred narrative rather than seeking the truth. Dishonesty and deceit seem to be the norm within the company culture, with little regard for integrity or transparency. Even their sister property, Kontogiannis, has faced issues such as bed bug infestations, which were conveniently swept under the rug. The on-site management excels at putting on a facade of care and hospitality, especially when dealing with potential tenants. However, behind closed doors, their true colors emerge, revealing a lack of genuine concern for residents' well-being. Overall, Colonial American operates more like a dysfunctional family business, where favoritism and nepotism reign supreme by a spoiled nephew of the owner who isn’t familiar with working for what he has, rather he complains about reviving the wrong color of his “company vehicle” each year. If you're not in their inner circle, neither as an employee nor a tenant, you're unlikely to receive fair treatment. Should you dare to voice any grievances, be prepared to face retaliation in various forms, all while the management maintains a facade of professionalism. In conclusion, if you're seeking a property management company that genuinely cares about its tenants and upholds high standards of service, look elsewhere. Colonial American falls short on every front, consistently prioritizing their own interests over those of their residents. Don't settle for mediocrity; explore your options and choose wisely."
