"German Roach in the bathroom, on a towel. We didn't shower. Bits of food under the beds. Beds seemed clean enough. Last room open along our stretch of highway or I wouldn't have stopped there. Looks like it used to be a nice place."
"Being an over the road driver, I have spent my share of time in motels. I only feel like sharing my opinion if it is a place that should be condemned (sunset motel in Joplin Missouri) or if a motel is a step above the normal. Twin Pines Inn is such a place. Very clean rooms, a little smaller rooms than the norm. But nice all the same. Reminds me of older family owned motel, where they have pride in providing a quality stay. I already have and will keep recommending this establishment."
"This is hands down THE WORST motel I've stayed in during my 10+ years of working on the road. $430.00 a week and the room does not have a mini fridge or microwave. If you buy one they will make you remove them because they do not want to pay the extra $10.00 a year in electricity costs. Also do not bother hanging the "do not disturb" sign on the door. They feel they have the right to come in when you're not there anyway. I never rate places, good or bad, but this place is a joke..."
