"Wow. I was referred to Dr. Butler in 2017 by my OB-GYN the day before my myomectomy because she forgot about my issue with my fallopian tube. We rescheduled the myomectomy because Dr. Butler was supposed to assist her to do both procedures at the same time. Well between that time, my OB-GYN retired out of the blue and I was left with Dr. Butler to do the entire thing. He has to start over and was actually great! The entire process up to the surgery was awesome, the surgery was a success, after care up to the 2nd visit was great. But I had some severe pain that I didn't know if it was associated with the surgery or not. He advised me to go to the ER and he'd meet me there. He did not. I could NEVER EVER get in touch with Dee (honestly, she was the absolute worst! She even scared me into thinking I had a cyst on my ovary before I went to the ER)! She's the only reason I left 2 stars off. The front office clerk was amazing (which is very rare here in Georgia for some reason), Dr. Butler was attentive, positive (he even told my husband and I that he truly wanted to assist us with IVF once I healed from the surgery because we would be wonderful parents and that we were great looking LOL), and a great listener. I had no idea what was going on politically, and from what I see here, I'm sure we were on opposite sides of the political opinion fence. I just saw what he said and OMG! That was super dumb on his end. Ah well, words have consequences."

"I saw Dr. Hawkins from 2015-2017 while trying to conceive. She was the absolute best doctor I have ever had. She had to refer me to Dr. Butler for a procedure following my first miscarriage, but graciously agreed to visit me in the hospital and held my hand while I went under anesthesia. I will never forget how compassionate and caring she was. Thanks to her, we welcomed our first baby in October of 2017. Last year we were finally ready to try for our second baby but had to wait due to some extenuating circumstances in my own life, then Covid hit and the office closed for a bit. Since Dr. Hawkins was on a leave of absence, we scheduled an appointment with Dr. Butler. He was very gentle and had wonderful bedside manner. He explained every procedure in detail and really cared about making sure I was comfortable. I've seen where he has apparently made some political statements in his own personal life, but to be honest...politics never came up in our office visits and it didn't matter to me what side of the aisle he was on. All that mattered to me was that he was the only Reproductive Endocrinologist left in Middle Georgia, he was kind to me while in the office, he had the knowledge and experience to treat me, and was willing to help us get pregnant again. Unfortunately, now that won't happen because of cancel culture. It is such a shame that Navicent Health bowed to these people who were probably never even a patient of Dr. Butler's. Infertile families all across Middle Georgia are now forced to travel hours away to find the next closest fertility doctor. I'm sure many won't be able to afford traveling on top of their already expensive fertility treatments. I'm disappointed that he wasn't reprimanded in a different way so as to continue to allow access to the fertility treatments that so many families in Middle Georgia need. I am heartbroken, not just for my own family, but for so many who no longer have the option to seek treatment that provided hope of a future they dreamed about daily. An infertility journey is not for the faint of heart and my prayers go out to all who find themselves in this crossfire."
