"Dr. Patel is wonderful!! He takes his time with you and listens to the problems you're experiencing. I thought for sure I was headed back into back surgery 6 weeks or so ago. I was in unbearable pain for months in my lower back. Even changing sleeping positions during the night was extremely painful. I had starting taking prescription pain medicine out of pure necessity to function. My first visit I fully expected Dr. Patel to tell me that it was likely a disc issue and that he wouldn't be able to help me. My first visit he did the dry needling and cupping on me. It wasn't a comfortable experience however, I left that first visit so very encouraged!! I have not had to take pain medicine since. He did a second round of dry needling because I was still having some tightness in my lower back. One thing I noticed within a few days of the first visit, was that I was able to do the movements in my exercise class with more ease and go much lower on my squats! It's great to know there are options outside of surgery, invasive procedures or injections.
