"I am surprised by the negative reviews. I have been a patient for over a year and Dr. Rogers has been nothing but kind and very knowledgeable. She talked me through different birth control options and ended up switching me to a better, less hormonal option. Her staff has also been nothing but kind and professional. I am sorry this isn’t everyone’s experience but this is a wonderful OBGYN office."

"I've been a patient of Dr. Rogers for years & I didn't want to write a bad review because the last thing I want to do is tear another Black woman down. I believe Dr. Rogers is knowledgeable. Initially I wanted to take what she says is a direct approach as caring in a tough way. But direct, I can take. Condescending, disrespectful and nasty are a completely different story. I think she cares more about feeling superior and being perceived as right than she does about her patients. The office is extremely unprofessional. The office manager/receptionist or whatever she is, is ghetto, loud & rude. She is not a medical professional & if Dr. Rogers does not want to actually take the necessary time for her patients, she should at least hire a proper PA or nurse practitioner & not NeNe from the block who is often louder than she should be when discussing your private information with others in ear shot & more intrusive than she needs to be for her level & likely her ability. It's disappointing because in reading old articles about Dr. Rogers it seemed she had so much promise. You can tell from the responses here that she does not think much of her patients. It's sad. I'm sure there are many more who feel this way but who just don't bother to write the reviews. Update- Auto correct prefers that spelling I suppose & I didn't catch it. But I fixed it for you. I'm definitely a patient, but I notice you like to say that in an attempt to discredit reviews. Instead, perhaps you should try to grow from them & be a better doctor & human being."

"Let me start by saying, I truly do not like giving bad reviews. I am a Healthcare employee and believe with professionalism and a simple conversation this office would be great. My daughter was treated awful by the front staff. She was made to feel like, she was "bothering" the staff by trying to get a understanding of the office policies and billing. So, I called. I spoke to a lady who claimed to be the office manager. She was very unpleasant and abrupt with me. This office is new, and I doubt it will be open much longer. It is very disheartening that my daughter will need to look for a new OBGYN to take care of her. Dr Tosha is very informative and helpful. However, her staff needs a lot of work. Since Dr Rogers decided to respond..... No, Dr Rogers you have not been fully informed of the problem. She was just notified today when she showed up for her appt that ins did not pay the full amount. Which is completely understandable.. However, the initial problem that you seem to be ignoring (based off the other reviews here) YOU NEED TO SPEAK WITH YOUR FRONT OFFICE STAFF. The lady I spoke to yesterday, told me she'd been in healthcare for over 30years. Maybe she need a refresher on how to treat patients instead of making them feel bad for asking simple questions. Record the conversations this woman has with your patients over the phone, you just may be surprised. The billing issue was never the problem, but the way she was treated and spoken to is unacceptable. Shame on YOU for not acknowledging the problem is your staff. It is very sad we found a "brown" doctor that appeared to be a great Doctor to treat her issues. Yet, this confirms... we aren't all meant to be supported. Good luck and Blessings to you. "Dr. Rogers is excellent. But, her staff is another story! A lot to get in to and I've tried to ignore the attitudes of these front desk folk. Now, my daughter tries to make an appointment but couldn't because of a bill from 2014 that never went out. All the person could say is, IDK what happened. The thing is, my daughter was covered back then. So she is making an appointment with another doctor and she is still covered."

"Highly unprofessional staff!! Please read other reviews and you will notice an overlap of experiences. Also please notice the responses to reviews by Dr. Rogers that are a complete RED flag. I made an appointment in December 2020 as a new patient. When making the appointment I was told by the office staff to wait until January 2021 to be seen so my insurance would cover my yearly visit. I come in to see Dr. Rogers in January. In the visit I found a few of the comments she made to be questionable and her communication style to be quite harsh and unnecessarily rude. After my exam she asked me to make a follow up appointment to discuss my results. I go to the front desk to schedule the appointment and I’m presented with a bill by the exact woman who told me to push my date out so I would not be charged. I was also taken back because my insurance covers me at 100%. I asked for a breakdown and was verbally told it was for being a new patient. I paid the full amount in office and made the follow up appointment. During the time they were switching locations and I was not provided with the new address. I called over and over and was not able to get into contact with anyone. When I finally did a month later I asked for my medical records because I did not find it necessary to make an appointment just to discuss. I was given the run around and told to call back. I called again and asked and was told I needed to come into the office and make an appointment to receive them. Finally May 2023 I come in for a new appointment and check up. I call to make an appointment I am asked is my insurance the same and I answer yes. I come in at 9 am. By 9:45 I am called to the desk in a very small waiting area with 3 others very close and I’m hearing range and I am told that I have a $200 bill and that I can not be seen until it is paid. I am more confused because I paid the bill last time I was in. She then explains that I was only billed a portion. I asked why wasn’t a bill sent, why didn’t they tell me this the 3 times I called after my last appointment, why was I waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room before I was told this?? She was very dismissive and condescending. She told me it was my responsibility to check with my insurance company for this information. I had to ask her for a print out of my bill four times during our conversation because she would not give it to me. I told her I needed to call my insurance because the insurance app was not showing that they even made a claim! She said “okay well you are being charged a cancellation fee since you will not pay the balance and you can’t be seen until you do”. I simply walked out. I don’t trust the care of Dr. Rogers nor her staff. They are misleading and rude and I believe it all starts from the top with Dr. Rogers."
