"It's truly an amazing school especially for those who have graduated from high school and chose to be enrolled after graduation and for those who dropped out of high school and are willing to get their GED. So far, I have had a positive college experience, as a current student, going on my fourth semester, the staff are very welcoming and accepting of all people regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, etc. Really peaceful environment, atmosphere is calming to reduce stress, classroom structure is sound. Snack bar is a great place to study, get something to curb hunger and quench thirst, courtesy of the wonderful vending machines, and an amazing spot to hang out in between classes. Campus Store is top notch, amazing service!"

"I am going on my third semester at SRTC. The instructors are AMAZING! I was so terrified at first. I thought they were going to be arrogant like the instructors at other colleges I've attended. It is the opposite. The staff, instructors, advisors, EVERYONE is willing to assist students to be successful. I am coming back to SRTC to earn more degrees. The staff and environment encourages you want to continue your education and earn every degree they offer because of the compassion they show everyday. I want to thank SRTC for all of the support, encouragement, and pasiion for their students!"

"I put in an application for the summer 2023 classes on feb 16 I noticed there were problems with my application checklist when I called whoever they have in their enrollment department was rude she asked for my full social security number an I told her no because I know someone who had their life flipped upside because of that she got an attitude with me an told me that she had to have the full thing or I just need to hang up an find a different school an also since I put in my application an I find out im past the due date to apply for any of the fafsa tuition aid or any of the tuition aid because no from the school even contacted me I applied on feb 16 an not one person from the school ever contacted me I had to call them an im very displeased wouldn't recommend going here"

"I've attended this college 2 different times now, the second for carpentry. I had to take an exam to get into the course but because of my dyscalculia (similar to dyslexia but with math) I really struggled in the math portion. But the on-campus tutor really changed my life. I thought I was too stupid to learn many basic math skills, but the tutor was able adjust his teaching style to my learning style and was able to teach me many things I never thought I'd be able to learn in my 30+ yrs of life. I understand not just math better, but I also have a better understanding of numbers in general and this helped me greatly to graduate from the carpentry program. It's totally changed my perspective about myself and what I'm capable of. I love this college and the instructors I had for carpentry, math, student success center tutor, and all the friends I made while attending."

"Cool school, accept for a few problems. They jack the prices of the books, and if financial department makes a mistake on making a false charge on your school money, they won't stop it or refund you. So if if you are excused from school due to family loss or emergencies, and they still charge you, even though they said they won't. They will acknowledge they messed up, and still take your money and penalize you."
