"Amazing principal who cares about the students and community. Great teaching staff and mostly athletic programs. **Update** 2018 - New principal and more and more parents are discussing their dissatisfaction with school leadership... You have to be an advocate for your child and make sure they’re taking classes to prepare for them college. This school doesn’t do a great job for mainstream kids going to private college and challenging ones (except if they’re on a track like Academy of Finance, High Achiever, etc.). Also, if your child has any learning issues (even very slight), you need to make sure they’re not just pushing them through without guidance and assessment. This program needs new leadership and revamping. There needs to be accountability - otherwise, kids suffer and you need to go outside to get them specialized help and assessments. It is important as a parent you meet with someone at the beginning (freshman year and track all four years) and be very vocal and make sure you child gets what they need."

"I am a Dunwoody alum and current parent. My education and experience at DHS prepared me well for Bachelors of Science in Environmental and Civil Engineering and Masters in Divinity. Dunwoody has always been great school in a great community. I am very thankful to be back and involved."

"Good teachers good people and decent atmosphere excellent principal but the liberal propaganda and lunch food doesn't want me to give this a five stars."

"Dunwoody is amazing, comparing to other schools.less crime and more opportunity. The teachers are amazing, if a teacher see's you trying hard to study, trust me.no matter what, they will come to you first! Teachers in dhs dont like to waste their time on students who doesnt care, dhs is amazing cause if you want to sucess and try hard, they will give u all the information that you need to sucess and build you up..!"
