"Primrose of Dunwoody has been an exceptional find for our family. Mrs. Lynn and Mrs. Kayla are rock stars. We couldn't be more pleased with the positive environment they've created for our daughter and her teachers."

"I debated whether to write this, but as a parent, I decided I had a duty to other parents to let them know: I toured this school yesterday and was so disturbed by what I saw that I left before the tour had ended. In the Infants 1 room (where the youngest babies are, most of whom cannot sit up on their own yet), there were 3 "teachers" but I saw no teaching whatsoever (and anyone who thinks babies this age don't benefit from active teaching simply doesn't understand the first thing about child development): There was one woman (who was sporting 1" long acrylic claws which I wouldn't want anywhere near my infant's eyes for safety reasons) who was sitting on the floor in the middle of a circle of babies in bouncers and c-shaped supports. shaking a rattle arrhythmycally, while one of the babies (who had blonde or strawberry blonde hair in case the parent wants to ask follow-up questions) absolutely screamed his/her head off. The other two women were just standing there, one about 8 feet away from the circle of babies, one about 12 feet from the circle of babies. I stood there in horror watching this scene for about 45 seconds (a long time when there's a screaming baby) before I finally said to the tour guide, "Isn't someone going to comfort that baby?" The tour guide then motioned to one of the women who was just standing around, and that woman picked the baby up and immediately sat her next to the woman who was sitting on the floor shaking a rattle. The baby continued to scream as the arrhythmic rattle-shaking continued. The rattle-shaker did nothing. I asked to leave. This scene horrified me because it showed: 1) Complete lack of training/adherence to a curriculum - the "teacher" could have been shaking the rattle to a steady beat, singing along, tapping the babies' feet to the rhythm or even just TALKING to them about what is going on ("This is a rattle. I'm shaking a rattle. Do you like rattles?"). 2) Lack of physical preparedness: It is deeply unwise to wear long acrylic nails if you work with babies. One false move and you have scratched the baby's cornea, and she will scream for days in pain and can't even tell her parents what hurts because she doesn't know how to speak yet. 3) Lack of basic human kindness (how do three women stand/sit in a room with a screaming baby and make no move whatsoever to comfort that baby for nearly a minute and not until they were instructed to do so? Nobody picked up the baby or bounced her or even said a comforting word.) The owner did call me later that day. But instead of making a point to say, "I'm going to use this as an opportunity to be more hands-on and pay my teachers better so that I can make sure to hire people who love babies and have a vocation for working with them," she said, "I could give you the numbers of hundreds of parents who have been very happy with their children here." Yikes. The parents are probably happy because they have no idea how their infants are treated while they aren't there to watch, and ignorance is bliss..."

"We could not be happier with the teachers, curriculum, and community that Primrose School of Dunwoody provides. The balance of learning and love that are a part of every day is so important to us as parents. We have a huge amount of trust in the teachers and administrators because they have continuously proven to be on top of everything from a playground bump on the head to a global pandemic. We know our children are being cared for when they are at school. Primrose fosters a love of learning in a safe environment. The icing on the cake is that the families we have met through Primrose have become some of our best friends. We have a special bond because of this special place."

"Update: It's been another year and Primrose has been amazing! My sister is going to enroll her new baby in our Primrose :) For us, this school has thought of everything. The Tadpoles app is helpful and informative, the atmosphere of the school is welcoming, and the staff is knowledgeable, organized and friendly. Since joining, our toddler has excelled tremendously in his independence, motor skills and vocabulary. We are so pleased with his progress and look forward to all he will accomplish as he grows at this school. The after school program for our Kindergartner has been outstanding from keeping him physically active to helping him with his homework. He always asks for us to pick him up later because he is having such a good time. When his elementary school is closed, the camp days and field trips are well thought out and have been fun adventures for him."

"Our girls have attended the Primrose School of Dunwoody for 2 years. The experience has been wonderful. The girls have thrived in a nurturing environment and they enjoy so much going to school every day. They have learned so much! They adore their teachers and love their friends. The owners, management, teachers, and staff are all great. Everyone is extremely helpful and responsive. Parents are very much involved in this partnership. As we prepare to embark on a new journey to the Northeast, we are sad to soon be leaving this quality early learning environment and highly recommend this amazing school."
