"I had been seeing one of their Retinal Specialists for a couple of years due to sudden flashing lights, floaters and pain which caused me to seek treatment for the possibility of a torn retina (which luckily did not have.) I don't have a complaint with my doctor per se, but approx. 6-8 mos. ago I called the office to say I was having significant pain in one eye and needed to schedule an appointment. I never said it was an emergency and gladly would have waited for an appt. She told me I needed to speak to Triage because I had pain. I assumed due to pain they would get you in sooner or determine the extent of a possible emergency. I got a Voicemail stating they would return my call in 30 mins. but received no response. I called the main desk later, they apologized and said they couldn't schedule me an appt only Triage could. Again, I left another message on Triage and again no response. Luckily, the pain lessened for me on its own so I forgot about it. Just last week, I had a recurring pain in my right eye and thought I'd better make an appt just to make sure its not my retina tearing and I went through the same entire fiasco again. I didn't receive a phone call back from them until 4 days later, whereby I was notified that they're short staffed in Triage and another sorry. If that's the case then the Main Desk shouldn't be referring people to that department or maybe pay people a decent salary so you have enough staff. They certainly charge us enough for every visit. I'm leaving this place and doctor because my trust in them is totally gone and the thought of having to call them for any other reason except my yearly exam leaves me absolutely cold."

"Had an appointment scheduled for six months. Arrive at the office to learn it had been cancelled and I wasn't notified. Office staff claimed to have informed me by text message, email, phone call, and written letter. Surely if they weren't lying I would have gotten one of those notices. I checked my email, mailbox, call log, and text messages to confirm there was no notice. I guess they sent the letters to Mars or something because I checked the mail on the way to the doctor's office."

"Husband scheduled for 07:30 for procedure, arrived, as requested,07:15, no one at desk or anywhere until 07:35, another patient, already waiting before we arrived stated his frustration, receptionist got her supervisor. Both patients were called back at 7:50. The Drs here are wonderful, but, more than usually, no matter the day, appointment time or reason for the visit, you'll wait 20-90 minutes beyond the appointment time. There's a sign to let you know this is possible, but, it's too frequent."

"It would be great to have been able to get to know our new doctor since our previous doctor retired. We were rushed in and out like an elevator pitch. No opportunity for questions or concerns. I don't even know the doctor's name. It was very impersonal. How can you gain trust when you're on an assembly line? I'm glad it didn't take all day but there needs to be balance."
