"I was not a fan of this office. I waited an hour and a half to two hours every visit until the doctor came in for 5 or 10 minutes. He had male medical students with him each visit- he did not ask permission before having them in the room. He did not ask permission before he let the medical student swab me during the pap smear. I felt uncomfortable but hesitated to speak up in the appointment- I wish I had. I changed to GOAT offices and they brought up issues noted in my blood work (which was done over 2 months prior with Dr. O)- I was never called to address any of the issues, one of which was a big deal as it concerns my thyroid. It seems like they have too many patients so people fall through the cracks. Hopefully they will use this review for the good of their current patients."

"Man I didn’t wanna do this but had too every time I come it’s the same. Got here 10 minutes early still didn’t get seen till 45 minutes afterrrrrr my time come on man what the freak bra every time I come here but y’all make sure y’all ask for that co pay up from so what y’all telling me is to come late to my appointment so instead of 12:30 come round 1:15 to be on time for 12:30 bra I gotta switch doctors. It’s best not to come on a lunch break. And front desk lady said I’ll make it back to work on time and didn’t. SMH never again"

"Scheduled an appointment at this place 3 different times and all 3 times (within 2 weeks)they have rescheduled my appointment due to the doctor just deciding not to come in for the day. An hour before my 3rd and last attempt at going to an appointment at this office, I got a voicemail saying my appointment had been canceled. So I called them and the receptionist literally told me “I’m going to have to reschedule you because I just was informed the doctor isn’t going to come in” mind you it was 2pm. He’s just now letting y’all know, and he knows he has a patient in an hour yet still is choosing to not go to his job. Unprofessional."

"My daughter is pregnant for the first time. She made an appointment and they rescheduled. On her rescheduled appt they rescheduled again. She had an appointment today. They called and cancelled due to the doctor just didn't want to come in. Worse office ever. Not giving my pregnant daughter the care she needs or deserves. . I will be reporting this office and doctor. This office deserves -0 rating"

"Sadly, my experience with Nature Coast Women's Care has been awful and I can not recommend this practice to anybody. Dr. Okoroji is not a bad doctor, but the way his practice is ran needs a lot of improvement. Here is the list of complaints: 1) First, every time I have an appointment, I will wait in the waiting room for no less than 45 minutes, but I have waited as long as 2.5 hours. Usually I wait on average 1 hour and fifteen minutes. This is not just a one time problem, I have had several appointments and they are always late. My sister went to the same doctor and has experienced similar problems with scheduling and wait times. 2) My next complaint is the admin team continuously mixes my and my sisters medical records and appointments up - which is highly, highly unacceptable. I don't care if we are sisters, it is a HIPPA violations. For example, I will call and leave a message to reschedule an appointment and they will end up calling my sister back instead. Or I will schedule an appointment and they will end up actually scheduling my sister. The admin team never fails to screw this up. 3) The nurses do an alright job, but I sense a lack of empathy from them. They are doing their best, but they can do better. 4) I did not feel respected by Dr. Okoroji when I went to him for a tubal ligation. He continuously asked me "you don't want to have babies?" And this question was incredibly annoying. 'No, if I wanted to have babies I wouldn't be asking for a tubal ligation.' It just got old. 5) My incision from my surgery got infected and he ordered me the wrong antibiotics. After getting the infection tested at a different facility, we discovered which strain of staph infection I had, and I had to go back to Dr. Okoroji to ask him to order me the correct antibiotics. It took me 8 days to get the proper antibiotics, which was a long, painful, itchy process. Because it took so long to get the proper antibiotics, the infection spread, at at my incision, tore my incision apart, which has now resulted in a hideous scar. I have been seeing a dermatologist for the issue and they are recommending a scar revision surgery. 6) He did not schedule a post surgery appointment. If I did not reach out to the clinic myself, I may have never been called or seen again. This, in my opinion, is another reflection of poor administration. Overall, I not trying to speak ill of Dr. Okoroji. He did what I asked for, I got my tubal ligation, but the process was long and painful. If Dr. Okoroji wants to improve his reviews, I highly recommend by starting with improving his administration team. Don't make patients wait more than 20 minutes for an appointment. Don't mix up patient medical information. Don't schedule the wrong patient for the wrong appointments. Don't order wrong medication for in infection. Actually schedule pre and post surgery appointments. These are things that can improve. Good luck."
