"We had the BEST dinner at Tropical Flava!! We ordered the oxtail entree, jerk tofu entree, coco bread. All of our food was so flavorful and so so good! You can tell that the chefs put a lot of love into their food—it really felt authentic and homemade. They also gave us samples of all their natural drinks that are made in house (all delicious btw) and we decided on the cucumber/lime and natural fruit punch. Another thing we loved was the service. Everyone here is so friendly and treats you like family. I liked the feel of the restaurant; it’s set up like a lot of other Haitian & Caribb places I’ve been to. I felt like I was almost on vacation—somewhere totally away from Macon. Truly one of the best Caribbean spots I’ve tried in a while :)"
"This is a nice place in a decent location for Macon. I ordered oxtails meal, the food was nice and neat in the plate and it was also a heavy plate. However the meat was a bit dry as well as the cabbage I also noticed at the bottom of the oxtails beef bones I’m assuming because it wasn’t oxtails. I didn’t really taste the rich Caribbean flavor but it was ok for a meal on a Sunday."

Normally I don’t leave reviews but this place just amazed us, We order a big fried fish, it comes with a super tasty sides.. the quality, the freshness and the FLAVOR was just sooo good, my husband and I just keep talking about how good it was all the time, plus they are very welcoming and the service was just out of norm in a positive way. Desert is very good too."
"So so good. I’m no food critic, I just like to feel welcomed, eat a great meal and the environment to be pleasant. Tropical flava checked all the boxes. The food was delicious, ox tail and curry chicken was well spiced, very tender and so very good. Staff was very pleasant and the restaurant itself inviting. We will def go back."
