"I have been a customer for a long time and always enjoyed the ribs. Hadn't been in a while since I am no longer in the area but they are 2nd best to my husband ribs and he wasn't in the mood to cook. I did enjoy the food but it just wasn't seasoned as well as usual. I also noticed the change in name on the door and picture hanging over the cashier area so I am going to equate that to the difference in flavor but still good. I will be back and thanks for adding more hours!"
"Brisket is hard to do well and most places don't. This place does it with expertise. Can't recommend the brisket sandwich with spicy sauce enough (though it didn't even need the sauce)! Lean, juicy, awesome bark on the edges. Friendly service to boot! We only tried the brisket and potato salad (which tasted just like my mom's potato salad) but the food on the other tables looked just as good! I was jealous of the wings at the next table so I will have to try those next time!"
"I really hate to leave this review, because everyone is sooo nice and respectful. The customer service is really phenomenal but I’m hoping I can help others make a better food choice then I did. This is the THIRD time we have received ribs that were full of fat and undercooked. I like this place so much that I gave it try after try but food is too expensive to receive food that I can’t eat. The greens were salty with a severe taste of garlic. It’s like something changed, maybe management, idk! I’ve been a loyal customer since 2017 due to them being black owned and because they were once upon a time, good. I hope they can get it together soon!"
"The food was delicious and the employees were so kind and gracious! They truly cared about our experience. Definitely get the mac & cheese side. The only thing I wonder about is the rib sandwich. We thought it would be rib meat between bread but it was whole bone-in ribs with bread underneath it. The ribs were delicious though and we have no complaints!"
