"This is my second time grocery shopping here when I tell you I heard about this place but I never experienced it until now and I love it when I tell you they got decent prices on meat and it is very low and when I tell you you must check it out and see for yourself go you will get your money work best believe I fell in love with it so I must say I will Continually to shop here, so if you are in the area, please go by and check them out and then you can experience what I have experienced. "In today's Wayfield Chronicles I ended up at the Wayfield in Jonesboro at 8777 Tara Blvd. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot the first thing that came to mind was that they need more lighting. It’s super dark and doesn’t present the safest environment after dark. Immediately upon walking into the store there was an odor that smelled like old meat. Though the odor was very present, the store was very clean and organized. As Wayfield is my go to for the “Pick 5” I proceeded to the back to see what the meat selection was like. To my dismay, it was minimal. Now, in all honesty, to the defense of the store; it was a Sunday and it was after 6 pm. Based on how the meat area looked I gather that today must have been a day of meat purchases. Nonetheless, I picked the best of the slim pickings and proceeded to checkout. Self Checkout was closed and there was only one cashier. Though he was very quick and efficient, there was still a wait. Overall, the store wasn’t a bad experience. I hope they look into the odor as that isn’t an inviting fragrance to walk into."
"Although the store is under construction, they maintain a level of structure. There was an order. The produce was neatly arranged. The meat appeared to be fresh and becoming. They have a wonderful sale on spiral sliced ham for $1.29 a lb. They were not crowded, and the customer service were welcoming"
"I really enjoyed their 4-day sale I was able to stock up on some really great Seafood and the customer service was excellent."
"Due to the raising price of food. This store really have a decent price for everything. Their meat is really cheaper then your local Walmart. We got two full size rib for $18. Compare to other store we would spend around $45. They also do that 5 for $25 to even help you save more money."
