"As a first time customer at the grooming salon I was disappointed that my wishes for my five year old Jack Russell’s haircut were not followed. When I expressed that I wanted his hair shaved all the way down, I was “counseled” about why it’s not recommended to cut this breed that low. I countered with my desire for his hair to be cut low; as the owner it is my prerogative, to do as I please especially since I have had it cut this way all his life. I expected he would be cut per my request when I returned for him and it was not. I asked for him to be cut very low. I like it this low because his hair grows very fast and I don’t like shed hair all over my house. This also saves me money so I don’t have to get him cut again so soon. I paid a total of $70 for this experience, yes, i did give a generous tip. ( I didn’t rant, rave, have a childish fit or a profanity laden fit; nor would I ever have). Hard earned money is not even enough to get by these days so when I spend that much money, I expect my money’s worth and 100% satisfaction. With that said, I will most likely be returning to my old groomer and give her $70 to honor my wishes as the customer who is always right."
