"Port City Pub is probably the quintessential place to experience Portsmouth. Everyone loves it, and for good reason - great prices for drinks, for food, and the atmosphere is always good. They support the local artists, groups, and always have an eye on the community. There are always phenomenal events, and the staff are very real while also being wonderful people. The head chef is proud of his potato soup, as he should be. It’s TO DIE FOR! You’ll love this place!"

"Daughter, husband, and I had drinks and appetizer here during happy hour on Friday 11/24 while in town for Winterfest. Our server was very kind. We enjoyed the beer flight, pineapple upside down cake cocktail, and hummus w/ pita bread/veggies. Convenient parking behind building, cozy fireplace, live music are other features that will bring us back for future visits."

"Excellent shepherd's pie made with pot roast not ground beef! I haven't had shepherd's pie this good in a long time! The raspberry score,served warm, was very good also."

"This was an awesome place! The Shepherd's Pie is delicious and quite a hearty portion. The appetizer nachos had a lot of flavor and came with salsa and sour cream. The atmosphere was just dim enough and quiet, despite being 5 in the afternoon. Service was good and fast. We will definitely be eating there again next time we are in Portsmouth, OH!"
