"Food was terrible. Sweet tea watered down. After seeing their version of a BLT I couldn't eat anything else. Definitely made me question my life choices. Would NOT recommend"

"I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with chili. Not sure what that burnt stuff is. It sure isn't chili. The bacon is a single slice torn in half. The bun was so soaking with grease it literally fell apart in my hands. The server was pleasant but never checked back after bringing us our food and when leaving I had to wait for 2 of them to stop yakking before we could pay. My wife also ordered the bacon cheeseburger but with fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were room temp straight from the can. We sent it back and got the same exact UN-CHANGED plate handed back to us. This used to be such a nice place. What happened???"

"A family of 5 can go eat off the menu or special board for under $40 and get a ton of food! It's a very spacious restaurant with 2 large dining rooms and a buffet with soup & salad & deserts for $11.95. The staff are very sweet and the cook is excellent! A new family favorite for sure!"

"SERVICE: No one at host stand, no "Seat Yourself" sign. Waited almost 10 minutes for server to bring menus. Then waited a full hour for our simple breakfast order to be served in a moderately full restaurant, where people who arrived 30 minutes later were served before us. Our server was friendly and chatty. While she accurately described the way fried eggs were prepared, she did not know about the hotcake batter (see below). FOOD: My wife enjoyed her properly cooked eggs 'over medium', biscuit and gravy, with bacon. I discovered that the 2 large 'hotcakes' served with a side of [stale, creamy peanut butter], and a side of [good] bacon were so tough that I had difficulty sawing through them. Incidently, hotcakes are NOT pancakes! APPEARANCE: The restaurant is definitely not easily accessible - the entrance is up a medium flight of stairs or by a long ramp. The ambience is industrial or retail, with white walls, floor, and ceiling with grey curtains, and black and red paint. Florescent lighting does not add warmth and welcome. PRICE: Two ample-sized breakfasts with coffees [no cream, but milk served in small plastic ramekins; same with sugar] $15. SUMMARY: Despite boasting its status as Pulaski's Cleanest Restaurant, this dining venue lacks much in terms of ambience, service, and quality. Kudos to the owners for attempting to create a space for the community to meet and eat in the dilapidated heart of the Town of Pulaski. There IS activity and life in this eatery, which with some aesthetic improvements, staff training, faster kitchen service, and menu changes (e.g., pancakes rather than hotcakes) could so easily be a destination for breakfast or brunch that would bring people from other parts of The New River Valley and beyond."

"If you are a local, you are already familiar with this new restaurant. If you are a traveler, looking for someplace to eat that's just a few miles off of I-81, then this is this place you'll want to go. This is real Southern style home cooking. You won't be disappointed. You'll get more than you can eat, for less than a fast food place. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can expect a nice clean restaurant to dine in, friendly staff, fresh food and good service. They also sell a variety of sauces, which I have not sampled...yet. I'm glad I stopped for lunch! ** please click the like button if my review has been helpful to you!! Thanks!"
