"The hotel downgraded to room and did not offer any accomodations to make up for it. There was a convention in town and they tried to say the hot tub was broken in my suite I told them that was fine I would accept the room. After I arrived I found out they had over booked and downgraded my suite I paid in advance for to a standard room. I asked if I could be refunded the difference and was told I had to call choice accomodations. This was a horrible experience."
"Negative: This hotel desperately needs an upgrade. The cleaning staff desperately needs to pay closer attention, too. The carpets were stained, decorations hanging on the wall were damaged, the couch cushions were turned over to hide stains. There were old toothpaste splatters on the wall and some gunky black debris that could've/should've been wiped away on the doors. Also, there's a $60 pet fee not clearly indicated at booking, and limited space to walk pets. Also also, the parking lot is teeny tiny. Positive: Breakfast was fantastic, and frequently replenished. The hostess (I wish I caught her name, she was Caribbean, so if you see this, friend, thank you so much!) and front desk team were great. The indoor pool/hot tub area was clean and functional, so that was cool. There are multiple choices for food nearby, as well as this location being in close proximity to Johnson Park. All in all, our stay was about $400 for 2 days, and I definitely wouldn't pay that much to stay here again."
