Holiday Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport-North, an IHG Hotel

"Missed our connection in Atlanta, and the airline put us up in this hotel for the night. The front desk was a little more chaotic than I would expect. Our room receptionist was a bit frazzled, but we eventually got checked in. The rooms were good. The breakfast area was just "okay". The shuttle rides were efficient and helpful."

"This was an interesting hotel. It has a nice bar, restaurant area, pool, and excellent food choices nearby, on the one hand, but it's confusing to get around the hotel, the side parking lot is very dark at night and the front desk seemed shocked that I was lost and confused. Someone from management needs to roam the halls and help all of the lost people walking around or write out directions to the elevator options for Concourse A or Concourse B. My king suite was fantastic!! Large sitting area, a small dining area, hallway to bathroom, bedroom and balcony. The other issues were worth the room!!! I'll be looking for this room option on future Holiday Inn stays."

"When I called directly and booked a room for my return flight, I was told that I could park my car and get a ride to the airport. He said just to show my reservation. However, when I called to confirm the front desk attendant told me she would not be able to help me until I came to show my reservation. After arriving I went to show my reservations in order to park my car and grab a rode to the airport. I was told I would have to get online to create a reservation and pay an additional fee and that the free parking is only for those who stay and then fly not the opposite. I explained that was not what I was told. The attendant didn't offer to help just shrugged and said she didn't know. Horrible customer service and care. I will be canceling my return stay with Holiday Inn."

"I don’t think I have ever been treated so rudely by hotel staff… or staff in general, frankly. My coworker and I are on business. We have to do something that will take like three seconds so we park in the front to go in. Right after we get into the lobby this big dude runs up behind us yelling about how we are blocking him and he had honked at us. Turns out he is the shuttle driver. I have my ear buds in and my coworker is slightly autistic so neither of us heard him. The dude starts carrying on and puffing his chest in the corner like he wants to fight. In my perspective I am just a passenger who walked into a lobby. All this time neither of us are raising our voices or engaging. We move the car and take care of what we have to take care of. My coworker asks the manager at the front desk if someone is going to talk to him about his attitude. Then this dude raises his voice at us too saying that we are not important, the shuttle driver is, and if we don’t like it “there is the door”. So the entire rest of the stay is hostile for completely unnecessary reasons. My room does not get serviced to be cleaned one single time. A higher manager calls me like four days after I make a complaint. He seems decent. He apologized for how we were treated and he offers us points and says that the employees have been talked to. A couple days later I walk up to a bar down the road for dinner and this loud mouth idiot shuttle driver screams something at me as I am walking away. PLEASE FIRE THIS LOUD MOUTH IDIOT!!!!!! This is after he supposedly got talked to. Screw the points. I am done with holiday inn. House keeping knocks on my door to service my room one time the entire time I am there and it is minutes before I am to check out. I am there eleven days! My stay was too hostile to flag anyone down. Thanks for making my stay in Atlanta miserable. Also, please fire that loud mouthed idiot. Thanks"

"Older hotel but very well kept. Service was pleasant and inviting. Breakfast bar was really good. It pays to be a diamond elite member as they upgraded me to a suite at no charge and without asking. The only complaint is the $18 daily parking fee. This should be waived or reduced for diamond or platinum members that travel a lot. Overall I would stay here again."
