Hyatt House Atlanta/Downtown

"Had a great stay here in Atlanta at the Hyatt House. Friendly check-in with Frank, the staff member who recommended a bunch of great local spots and hangouts. Room was spacious and comfortable. A short walk from the Civil Rights museum and other great areas to spend your day. Only drawbacks were that the location can get a little noisy, and that one of the staff gave me the wrong time that the hotel bar closed. Other than that, I highly recommend it. Great value and a nice stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our room was very clean and we loved having the kitchenette to make coffee m, or eat in the room instead of dining out. The free breakfast was good, nothing special but they changed a few menu selections daily. Because the game was in town. The breakfast got wiped out early so best to get up and get down there before 8 am for the best opportunity to get the most choices. The location was perfect for walking to the Aquarium, Coca-Cola museum, Centennial Park, and The New Mercedes Benz Stadium. We rented a car from the airport because it was less expensive than doing Ubers every day if we wanted to go outside of our hotels walking distance. I was happy that we stayed in a tourist destination and didn’t feel unsafe. The weekend we were there there was the Peach Bowl, so there were plenty of college football fans staying at the hotel because of its great location and its nice amenities. The valet was a great help, but sometimes was a little overloaded because they only had a few employees working but the guys who were parking the cars were very professional and very friendly. I felt safe, leaving them to watch over our rental car. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I recommend it for anyone wanting to see the attractions I mentioned above."

"The front desk staff seemed nice, but were not very helpful in improving the stay. When we arrived, we noticed that there was a long hair in the sink. We decided not to say anything and moved on from it. There were other issues with the bathroom that we noticed and I've included pictures and details. 1. Door to bathroom broken. Would not lock; lever to lock it was broken off. Poor design as you can see once it slides into the holder, it bangs the handle every time. 2. Fan did not work. 3. Edges of the mirror were fading away at both bottom corners. 4. Water damage on wall where the paint was peeling back. I found the level of the hotel to be below standards and would not recommend it. We did not get what we paid for in terms of quality. To add to that, the valets lost our key fob. And it's a separate company so watch out for that because they were difficult to track down."

"The room appeared to be clean, nice and neat. However , I left with what appeared to be bed bug bites on my leg and arm. I traveled in the winter and was fully clothed while out and about so it’s highly unlikely that something outside bite me. Thank you Lord the bites are going down. I’ve never experienced a bed bug bite before but I knew something was off by the abnormal appearance of the bite. Other than that people were very nice. I was double charged for parking but Frankie took care of it quickly. The hotel is located downtown so you can walk to the Olympic park, CNN and some restaurants. Everything else is minutes away. Great location. I hate to leave a bad review but I suppose the people should know. Hyatt please do a thorough clean and spray in room 208."

"Great location in the downtown Atlanta area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating when needed. Rooms were decent and clean. Can get noisy outside, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Bed was comfortable and bathroom (especially the shower) was very nice. Could have more of and higher quality utensils and cookware in the kitchen. A/C was a little up and down at times. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend and stay again."
