"I stayed at Hometowne Lodge for just over 10 weeks. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff treats everyone with respect and they do a great job of taking care of the building and the property. I would definitely stay here again. And Robin deserves a pay raise."

"Dirty place and unprofessional staff! Door knob fell off door , refrigerator had terrible smell (chemical) so much that it ruined my food. Water shut off unannounced and toilet and towels still dirty from previous guest. Charged me for towels that I didn't use and were already stained and dirty charged me 36 dollars from my deposit and said that they would have to wash them first and see if they came clean before returning my full deposit! Robyn at the front desk was very rude and Yvonne the so called "housekeeper " didn't do her job properly and charged me for it. Also not once was my room cleaned while there and I left the room cleaner then the way I found it. Stay ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! Just want to take your money for services they didn't provide! I will never give this place my business again!"

"Management seems to be invading privacy by making weekly "maintenance and safety inspections." I find it hard to believe that opening my refrigerator is anywhere close to being related to any kind of maintenance or safety issues. If I had called the office and told them it was not working then it could be. Also I don't see how two pennies on the floor should cause me to be written up. They stated I needed to purchase something to put my loose change in. And also stated I had to purchase a hamper for dirty clothes and that I could not leave trash in the can. There was only two pieces of paper in the can that day and I will not carry a bag with two pieces of trash to the dumpster. The lease does state they can enter the room for inspections. I feel weekly every week is an invasion of privacy and opening the refrigerator is just plain nosey."

"When I first arrived here the people seemed friendly and genuine. After a few months of staying here I was able to move into a home of my own. When I moved out the front office wasn't happy about it because I hadn't given them enough notice ((as if this isn't a weekly pay lodge)and not to mention you pay your week in advanced). So when you move in you have to put down $100 deposit so when you plan on moving out you can give a week notice if you want your deposit back but if you do not give the week notice you simply don't get your deposit back, it's completely up to you. So because I didn't give my week notice I wasn't getting my deposit back which I was fine with. After moving out I called up there sometime later to see if I had received any mail I was told that I did not have any mail and that I owed almost $600. I was told that I had damaged the property and put a hole in the wall and that I also owed money for a single day. They were also charging me to replace the phone in the room. A $15-$20 phone they were charging me $100 for... Might I add that the phone was in the room I had simply unplugged it and wrapped it up and put it on the dresser so my child wouldn't touch it. I absolutely did not damage this property whatsoever. When I moved into this Lodge there was a square cut out behind the toilet so the pipes could go into the wall the square was big enough to put both hands into. Because they never patched it up I chose to plug it with a rag so that bugs were not coming in and out of it. So be careful at this place because it's your word against theirs and their word will win no matter what."
