"This is located right by the hospital (EAMC) and extremely easy to go back and forth. They are currently upgrading the motel. The breakfast was continental with great coffee and juice. It is also located close to tiger town and many restaurants/fast food. Outback had a great meal and less than a half mile from the hotel."
"This place is horrible!! First room 115 smelled like sewage and the water smelled the same way. Our towels were dirty and the bed sunk in at the head off the bed. They moved us to the room 209. This room was cleaner. The blanket on the close to the window had a dirt stain on it. Woke up this morning to a ROACH crawling in my face!!!!! Oh my GOD. My family and I packed up and left. This is the first time we’ve ever stayed at a Best Western because our friends wanted to stay here. We normally stay at a Hilton, Hyatt or Marriott. I guess you get what you pay for. I pray that none of these critters got in our bags and get in our home. My friend just told me they had a ROACH in their bathroom. I spoke with a gentleman at the desk and he said he will let the manager know. When I dropped off the keys, I asked the lady at the counter if she was the manager and she said no. I thought she was because she was training someone yesterday. Any way she asked why I wanted to speak to the manager and I told her about the ROACH and she with a straight unbothered face said ok. I said ok? She said I will leave him a note. She didn’t reach for a piece of paper or pen. She was not the friendliest or seemed concerned that there hotel has a ROACH problem."
"This Best Western in Opelika is definitely a great pick if you're traveling. The rooms are nice & clean, perfect to rest in after a day of fun or work. The people who work here are super friendly & extremely helpful, which makes you feel awesome & welcomed. Plus, the hotel is not far from where all the cool stuff is happening, so you can do a lot without going too far. It's a really good choice for a comfy & affordable stay."
