"Stopped by and bought some stuff on my way through Cordele. Nice people who actually care about waiting on you. Some sports shops that are around in South Georgia, who I won't name, can't even trouble themselves to answer the phone. Will trade with again."

"I like to do business with what my Grandfather called " home folks,' meaning people who treat you as a long lost friend, rather than someone walking into your store for the first time, and that's EXACTLY what I found at Evans! Friendly folks, and great service, you REALLY can't ask for more!"

"I called to get an estimate on a carburetor in the beginning ,the service man quoted me 60$ for draining the oil and the New carburetor which was 164.65 .I then asked the service man how much it would be for the for a rebuilt carburetor on my snapper mower and the estimate was 60$ for labor and 53$ for the rebuild kit ,I asked the gentleman how much do i need to be prepared too pay in total for that specific job .He said 200$ .I asked why it would be so much more than the prior estimate that he just quoted me in the same sentence .He said we don't know what it will take to get to get your mower fixed.I was not told the correct information I hung up my g-mail and apparently my cell phone was not hung up and Evans was on the line still and they heard how upset I was and another SERVICEMAN ... on my boyfriend phone starts talking and said maam we are just not going to be able too satisfy you .[because i was upset about them going way up on the price he overheard that He than said if I bring the carburetor in then it would be 60$ in labor He then said the other SERVICEMAN explained that too me .But that is not what THE OTHER SERVICEMAN SAID ...OR EVER MENTIONED and he knew that he was just coming to the other mans defense .He did not tell me it would be more money if I brought the mower too the shop as apposed too just bringing the carburetor !!That was NEVER MENTIONED TO ME ! .I asked him in the beginning how much it would be for him too fix my mower ,what did he not understand about that ?The fact of the carburetor or the mower being brought too the shop was never asked or communicated too me .Basically I asked him how much it would be to flush the gas out of the oil and repair the mower .Not get it too the shop and tell me one price and then go way up on the amount .I was clear about every thing I said and everything I asked for and they refused me AND MY BUSINESS .and said we cannot satisfy your request .I called and another gentleman answered the phone and I explained what had happened .I told him the differance in the estimate and I explained too him that it was never asked or communicated weather or not I bring the mower there or not and if that was a factor in the larger amount and he said he heard the service man tell me ,,,and I am on my Gmail account and my mother and my family was listening too the whole conversation and that was false .I called again asked to speak with the owner they put me on hold and never returned to the phone .I called again and they again said that they will not be able to help me .All I needed to know is how much it would have been too repair my mower .The service man knew that and was not clear on what was included in the service charge .It is not the customers JOB to have to explain what is included in the 60$ estimate as apposed to the 200$ estimate .It is the service man JOB too explain in detail what is require of the customer!!Please Evan's outboard get up too speed on your communication skills."
