"I used to work at Home Depot in a different state. I used to always go to HD with my dad to buy stuff. In general it’s a great store. However, customer service has literally gone down the drain. There’s lack of employees and you can’t find anyone to help you. One thing that needs changing is better customer service skills. We used to get reprimanded for not acknowledging every customer. Whether you were able to assist or not. Don’t trust any recent reviews by someone who goes by “reality check” He is a known drug user and got fired for such."

"This review is based on an (ex) employee's perspective from working at the Home Depot in Cordele, GA. This store is just a small replica of any THD store. They told us employees (associates) that we need to focus on customer service, well that sounds good but they provide virtually no training, they just put you in front of a computer. They have a horrible turnover rate due to lack of training and finding someone that has customer service skills or someone who has an easily trainable natural ability, is not easy. Heck, the assistant store managers are noticably lacking in customer service ability and most of them , especially the Store manager, are condescending jerk offs. Almost all of the employees that have been there for a few years actually loath the customers. On top of that, the store manager would rather figure out ways to get rid of employees he doesn't like personally, even if that employee is or most certainly would be an asset to the company. I don't think this Home Depot deserves anybody's patronage, they prefer to play games on various levels resulting in terrible customer service and low morale amid most of the emploees !! To add insult to injury, I really liked working there, did my job well and had no complaints against me, but the store manager orchestrated a plan to get rid of me, initiated by a simple/believable lie.... irrational and devious. THIS HOME DEPOT DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR PATRONAGE OR YOUR RESPECT !!"

"Zero stars all the way around. Have taken off 3 separate times for this order and now again today and still no delivery. Now have to take a 4th day off on Monday because of the lack of customer care and service from this store. Spent over $3600 only to have the manager named Chance hang up on me today when I asked for his boss’ phone number and he said 800homedepot and hung up on me. Great customer service there. Will never shop a Home Depot again and will be sure to tell everyone I know how horrible this store has been to deal with. This is truely the worst experience I have ever had and I will be sure to pass the word."

"I always enjoy going into Home Depot. They have so much to look at, and give you so many ideas to fix up your home, yard, etc. They also have really nice sales. The staff is always nice and friendly, and willing to help. I was in there today to get some charcoal. It wasnt where it normally is. I walked until I came across an employee. I came across Mr. Greg. He was nice enough to take me to the charcoal. He asked how many do I need, and was very kind enough to put it in my buggy. He asked if I was about to check out, and said that he would load it into my vehicle. I thank him for his great hospitality, and great customer service."
