"I meant to leave this review a long time ago on StylesSeat, but it obviously kept slipping my mind. Ideally, I would give 5 starts strictly because Kelsey does really good hair and is nice. The shop is lovely and the vibes are great. I’d never deny that. However, my issue came from my final appointment a year or two ago. I had an appointment for 9:00AM on a Saturday morning. I got a call from her the morning of the appointment stating that she had a personal emergency or something of that nature and asked if she could start a little later to get herself together. Of course I said yes, things and life happen. I walked in a few hours later, at the rescheduled time that she advised, to find a man in the seat getting his hair braided by her during my appointment time. Now I don’t know if he was the “emergency” that came up or not. But I do know that it struck me as unprofessional, and as I mentioned, that was the last time that I went there."

"Today was my first time in Kelsey's chair and there will be many more days to come that I will be returning to her chair. Man have you ever had a head/scalp massage during the shampooing stage???? Well you may have but I can GUARANTEE you've NEVER had one as great as the one I received today by Kelsey. That massage in itself made my visit to her shop totally worth it. IYKYK ... Book your appointment you won't be disappointed!!!"

She’s a very talented stylist, she seems to really care about what she’s doing, and that reflects in her work. She’s professional, personable, and she gets you in and out. "My name is Myngo. My husband Robert just got his hair done by Kelsey yesterday for the 2nd time. She does a great job with his hair and he’ll be going to her from now on. The first time he got his hair done here in May by Kelsey for his 40th birthday trip we were very impressed by the service he received and the time it took her to braid his hair. First, she did it exactly like the picture; it looked so good and the quality of the braids were great! They lasted longer than any braid style he has ever had and the design was intricate. He received so many compliments on his hair while we were in Vegas. Unfortunately, on the trip he ended up in the hospital for five days and he didn’t cover his hair and it looked just as good as the first day she did it when he got out and he wore that style for at least another month and a half after and it was still looking good. I definitely recommend her. She was very nice, very professional and has a very clean shop that was comfortable for me to wait for him to get his hair done. The other people who work in the shop are very nice too. It’s just a great environment all around. I’m going to also get my hair done by her soon."
