Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Atmosphere and service was mediocre. Long periods of time before the waitress showed up in between visits. It wasn't busy, a little after 1, no sense of urgency. The only person that seemed to be enthusiastic about work this day was the young lady who seated and greeted us.Endless wings is what I had, my husband, the ribs. His ribs were spot on, my Endless wings were trash, Luke warm, hard, too much sauce. Asked for hot wings, brought out 5. Was told I'd get my fries in a few minutes they were cooking, and they never came out. I can go on and on about this experience. 3 out of 10 It was my first time eating Applebee's in years due to food quality at my last dining experience. Should have stood firm on my word."

"Bartender mastered the art of bad service on my last visit (Sunday 1/14/24, around 4 pm for the NFL Playoff Game). She seemed friendly with others at the Bar. If it did not sound so petty... I would think that she was mad at me for sitting in a bar stool she did not want customers at. They had two chairs tilted inward to the bar but those were closet to the TV I was wanting to watch the game on. I kindly asked the Manager (when he came to greet me) if I could sit in one . The bartender came off break and asked me to put the chair back against the bar, but I told her I had permission. Good service stopped at that point. Any dummy could figure out I was there for a while to see the game. When I ordered some Wings, she asked if I wanted them to go! She did all she could to push me out and would staking bar stuff around me to limit my space to the size of a plate. I still tipped reasonably knowing that the woman will soon find a profession she likes and could be good at."

"Stopped in for a late night snack on the way back to Florida and slept over in this town one night. Fish and chips I had were good and the salad my partner had was enjoyed. Strangest thing was two or three people at the bar as well as the bartender seem to have the nickname Boo. Strange but maybe it's a local custom also if you stop in late I think the kitchen closes at 12:00 before you order ask if it's okay to get food order that late, just saying!"

"Staff was good she was busy somewhat. Think maybe having one of those days , so not bad, and the manager (I think she was anyways ) that was own was really nice and really good to the eyes also. I'll go back just to see her..but no t a bad place to go to overall"

"The only reason I didn’t give it a 1 star is because the food was good. But other than that, customer service is nonexistent at this restaurant. We weren’t greeted when we came in, the host just stared at us until we spoke. The waiter was okay. It’s not that difficult to be welcoming."
