"Very good food. My husband and I just stopped in for a small bite today so we split the smoked sausage breakfast plate. It came with 2 eggs, smoked sausage, grits and a biscuit and we got a small side of gravy also. It was delicious. The scrambled eggs were a little over cooked for my preference but still good. The grits were perfect without us having to do anything or add anything to them. The biscuit was big and fluffy and had a nice buttery flavor."
"Great southern cooking! I loved this place! Clean place, staff was friendly and food was wonderful. I would highly recommend. Prices was great as well. We brought in my elderly grandmother and we were thankful they had two restrooms to use for customers. They also have breakfast all day which is hard to find. I will definitely be back. Great job!"
"Absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious. My only complaint was the speckled butter beans were over salted. Otherwise it was aces. FYI this photo was wrongly labeled "KKK in full regalia " Not even close to accurate."
"Old Southern cooking with a modern Southern atmosphere. Clean, welcoming and friendly. Homemade biscuits, loads of vegetables, and some of the best fried green tomatoes I've had (careful, they're fresh and hot). We avoid driving through Atlanta and head across Georgia instead. Places like Gritz is one of the reasons. Wonderful stop for lunch and the cobbler ... dang. BTW, Liver and onions isn't for everyone. If you like it, you know some folks can cook it and others give it its bad reputation. This was perfect. It's worth the drive just for that."
"I just had the pleasure of eating here at Gritz. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are top notch. As a city guy transplant, they were very welcoming and the breakfast (especially the grits and biscuts) were out of this world! My family doesn't live close, but we will be coming back often, it's that good."
