Dollar General

"If you like using dollar generals app for coupons and deals, DO NOT SHOP HERE. I went in hoping to get some of their deals from their app and spent the time going down each aisle looking for the products I needed and by the time I got to the register my phone number only took off one coupon instead of the 6 I had originally clipped. I tried to put my number in again and it was still the same outcome. The young girl at the register told me to hold on and she would grab her manager to fix the prices for me because she couldn’t. Manager comes and looks at my coupons on my phone and the product I was about to purchase and then proceeds to tell me if it’s not working with my phone number then there’s nothing she can do. Which is a lie because I have had managers there fix prices for me if it didn’t ring with the app. So I mention that to her and then she says she still can’t fix them because her employees drawers have been short the past few weeks and they are getting questioned from corporate she she isn’t gonna change prices ??? I’m extremely confused how that is my fault that your drawers are short and how your app isn’t working ?? Manager was extremely rude and left without purchasing anything."

"Normally I love this store and never had a bad experience until today. I was going to get cookies but then found another kind so put the others back. The lady at the register placed the same cookies I put on shelf on her register.. she replies rudely "you put these back on the wrong shelf" and asked if I wanted them. She knew I didn't want them if I put them on shelf. Ok apparently it was the wrong shelf but that was completely uncalled for. I was dealing with two young children acting up. I found this very rude. What happened to good customer service. My visit was Dawsonville branch January 4th 2022 10:47 a.m."

"This is the only store close to our house so we go almost daily. It stays pretty well stocked and the staff is helpful. As far as Dollar Generals go this one is top notch, it is in the country so, if you're lucky, you may witness something you have never seen before."

"This place is one of the few dollar generals that is fully stocked and have good helpers. I unfortunately forgot today how hard it is this time of year,but there is a young man tall and very polite he ran to get a cart out of my way which I was rude. This store has great staff and product,clean"

"I came into the store for only a minute as I was in a hurry. When I came out I noticed I had locked me keys in my car. The cashier stopped what he was doing to come outside and help me get into my car. He was determined to get me into my car and after about 15 minutes and everything in his power he got me in, I really appreciate it."
