"Floyd’s used to be the best bar in Americus. Some out of state company buys up the hotel, fires the old staff, changes everything, and now Floyd’s is a restaurant only, with an earlier closing time. Toboggan Steve’s sucks, with irregular hours, so changing how Floyd’s is run effectively killed the nightlife in Americus. Thanks a lot to the corporation who bought up the hotel and couldn’t leave well enough alone. How nice to cater to out-of-towners, while leaving your locals in the lurch."

"We were very disappointed when we decided to try out Floyd’s since they have new owners. The outside experience used to be One of the best in Americus. My husband and nephew were shocked when we were sitting outside, rushed to order if we were going to get something, and it was early, and then told they cannot smoke their cigars outside. We used to come regularly have a few drinks, and they would enjoy a great cigar, evidently this is no longer their policy so we will no longer be going to Floyd’s for relaxing night ."
"This is a very nice little place to grab a bite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great. I recommend trying it out. I will probably be trying it again when I am in the area."
"Updated review: The hotel that houses the pub has been sold and this is my first time going since the sale. There is no longer indoor seating except at the bar but the outdoor seating area is nice (I miss the rockers, though). Had a delicious margarita flight (Blackberry, raspberry, peach and lime). I'm excited to see what other changes are coming."
